Release Info: 

The Original mix Worldcup from Kiko was released on 1998. It is one of the 10 favorite Techno tracks from Laurent Garnier and Jeff Mills and still is considered a techno anthem. 15 years later we felt the obligation of making an EP full of remixes including a revisited 2013 version from Kiko. We have managed to put together three of the best world's techno artists so they could do their interpretation of this Loveparade's hymn. The 2013 version from Kiko still contains that 90's touch but refreshed with an actual sound. The remix from Jerome Sydenham is using an old school bass kick making it look like from the last decade. On the other hand, we have two very up-to-date remixes from Hollen and Uto Karem. These are four different ways to interpret a track from 1998. The richly talented duo Mathame featured on the second Realm Of Consciousness compilation and have since been regulars in the sets of Tale Of Us with some sought-after, unreleased tracks. Their distinctive treatment of vocals marks their tracks out instantly, nowhere more so than on ‘Nothing Around Us’, with the cyber voice of the young Italian artist Lyke. Mathame refine their singular sound on ‘Skywalking’ and a collaboration with Tale Of Us, ‘Departure’.
Following 2018’s ‘Nothing Around Us’ single, Mathame show no sign of slowing down. Their Afterlife Recordings follow up is a dancefloor single of epic proportions, taking the duo further into a realm of their own. Tension hangs off the sliding chords and spacious arrangements. Following Colyn’s standout track on the Realm Of Consciousness Pt.IV compilation, we see the full breadth of his scope as a producer on his first EP for the label.

The soaring synth lines and vocal of title track ‘Resolve’ are a bold statement, worthy of the most epic moments in a DJ set. ‘Eriador’ is comparatively restrained, with gently rolling drums and unusual flourishes. ‘Exchange’ and ‘Gravity’ distil euphoric elements into deeply moving techno cuts to fit the Afterlife mould.
