Personal Note:
What an incredible journey this collaboration has been. Writing this slow blues during my recovery from a mini-stroke a few months ago became my own form of therapy - a way to navigate through the pain and find my path back to normality. Never could I have imagined it would evolve into a recording with such an extraordinary group of musicians.

The Band:
This track features a dream team of players who brought their hearts and souls to the music:
• Bill - drums (bringing that masterful, rock-solid foundation that perfectly anchors this slow blues)
• Philippe - bass (laying down those deep, soulful lines that embody the "Goode old blues" tradition - that raw, emotional feel that speaks straight to the heart)
• John - Hammond organ (weaving warm, soulful textures that wrap around the melody like a comfortable blanket)
• Thomas - piano (those beautiful honky-tonk touches and jazz-influenced chords and licks that add such depth to the blues)
• Mervyn Sayers - saxophone (special guest appearance from my old friend from Ireland, making this reunion even more meaningful)

What Makes This Special:
This recording came together organically - no producer, no agenda, no pressure. Just musicians listening to each other and contributing their best with mutual respect and genuine love for the music. The slow tempo allowed us to really dig deep into the feeling of the blues, creating space for each instrument to breathe and tell its part of the story.
