Discovering Neon is a techno, deep house experiment.  The ever-present bass line is a delve into sound design while the entire song expands on several different synth voices.  The over arching theme is exploration chock full of sciencey goodness.

L'indifférence

Mirai is a music that mixes past and future; traditional and modern; eastern and western. It means future in Japanese. The name also appears in Japanese ideograms in the lower right corner of the cover image and the word is also mentioned by the female voice in the first part of the song, which says "welcome to the future".

It was originally created for an Instagram reel , had only a few seconds and almost no electronic effects. If you want to hear the original version, here is the link to the video:

Mirai

This is a track I made using various sounds from different Mega drive games, invidual one shots from those ,and also using Original sound sets from different games. You might recognise some sounds.. 

Thought it would be fun to put these all together to make a brand new track for a game that never existed. Shuriken XX .

Shuriken XX

The first version of this song was composed in the early 2000s using Cakewalk software and an Emu sampler (E4x Turbo) with 128 Mb of RAM -- an absurd amount of memory for a sampler at that time (today even my smartphone has much more). 

It was inspired by David Bowie's Earthling album and the early Nine Inch Nails records.

The name is a play on "Gen X" and suggests that robots (cover image)will be the next (nXt) generation.

The song is a mix of electronic music and rock/metal, with much more guitars than the previous version.

A few months after the release of the video, I thought the song deserved an updated version and here it is.

The title JoyBot is a reference to the nascent sex robot market.

This song is the result of a team effort and was composed in collaboration with AudioBake. The first draft came from him and it was a very interesting techno track. I tried to stick to the style, but ended up turning the song into a strange mix of industrial and progressive rock (sorry, my bad).

The vast majority of the samples were kindly provided by AudioBake (the hardcoreAXAcidLoops package is fantastic).
