Good to See You Again (Part 1)

Before anything else, I am a poet. I lived as one, survived the natural end of my generation, and now, in the dusk of life, I’m lucky enough to be reached by technology — a strange gift that lets me give voice (perhaps even a singing voice) to my poems.

My hope is simple: that something remains, kept by someone, by a few. Maybe twenty years from now, when I’m no longer here, a word of mine might still survive as an archaeological trace of a time that once existed.

I don’t know whether this technology will become just another tool of tyranny, or a way for small voices to endure. So I leave my verses like messages sealed in bottles and set adrift on the ocean of time — not knowing who might find them, only knowing they must be released.
