Stockholm indie/folk rock duo Overhead Compartments have since the debut single Sardo lake in 2014 taken big steps from a post-punk rock sound towards a subtle, more airy and folkier sound. With inspiration from The National, Sufjan Stevens and The Tallest Man On Earth as well as domestic artists such as Tomas Andersson Wij, Francis and Amason their sound is often described as a blend of indie folk and progressive rock. 
 
The singles Another War and Remind both stayed on the top-10 list of the Swedish national radio program ”P3 Osignat” for five consecutive weeks during the autumn of 2017 and spring of 2018. Debut album Mind your Destination, produced by Daniel Johansson (Friska Viljor), was well received by the press - "It's pretty dark. It's pretty soft. It's very, very good" (Rockfarbror 4/5). 
 
New single Changes I've begun will be out in early 2021 and later this year their second album Summit is planned to be released. Summit refers to the effort it takes to climb a mountain every day and then have to start all over the following day. And to constantly fight doubts and negative thoughts along the way.
