This month's mix comes from the legendary @bluetech. He brings us a wide array of unreleased music from his label Behind The Sky, by himself and artists on the label.

Astronox Festival in Texas, October 2022. A rare thing occurred - I got to play a two-hour closing set at the end of the insanely inspiring lineup of Saturday night, before a morning sound break. There are some major wiggles in this set, of the crunchy/glitchy variety, in keeping with the flow for the night. Ending with some gentle touches, like a sonic hug.

Mirrors Vol. 82 | keerd

Bluetech's latest single "Restless" is an auditory odyssey through the celestial expanse. The track takes the listener on a captivating journey through the boundless expanse of space, with delicate downtempo beats, analog sound effects, and melancholy female vocals that transport the listener to the outer reaches of the universe. This single also includes a fantastic remix by Erothyme, which adds an extra layer of depth and complexity, elevating the track to new heights.

The artwork for the album, created by Bluetech himself, features Laika the Cosmonaut, who serves as a reminder of the endless possibilities of space. "Spacehop Chronicles 2" is an album that invites us on a journey through the stars, an expedition of discovery and wonder. The album will be released as a series of singles, each featuring a remix from another artist and an original piece of artwork, which will be compiled for the final vinyl and full album release, providing unique perspectives from which to experience the album.

Bluetech returns with a new single "Echoes of Orion" featuring the legendary Laika the Cosmonaut. The track takes us on a mesmerizing journey through the cosmos, with Laika exploring new galaxies and encountering luminous entities and undiscovered worlds. As a parable of transformation and change, Laika's story is a fitting voice for these times, and Bluetech is proud to continue her narrative.

This single also features two fantastic remixes by Misled Convoy and Somatoast, each adding their own unique touch to the track. Misled Convoy brings a deep atmospheric dub soundscape and intricate sound design to the remix, while Somatoast takes us on a psychedelic journey with his mesmerizing production and hyper-intelligent beat production. The artwork for the single, created by Bluetech himself, features Laika the Cosmonaut gazing out onto a new world in the shadow of the Orion nebula, ready to continue her journey. "Echoes

In 2021, for DJ Maggie's birthday, Evan Bluetech came forward with a special idea: starting the label "Over the Moon." He recognized that Maggie had the perfect mix of skills for running a record label. Her keen sense for picking out gems in the downtempo genre, coupled with her vast network of artist relationships, made her an ideal choice. While Evan initially collaborated on the label's foundation, he's since stepped into an advisory role, providing insights while DJ Maggie takes the helm as the driving force behind Over the Moon. Bluetech's latest tracks, stemming from the forthcoming "Spacehop Chronicles Vol. 2" release, remain a key part of Over the Moon's lineup.
