​​"The Biotech Issue" is a moodboard compiling productions by Diessa, Eno Gata, Mordio, Niklas Bühler, Polygonia and Porter Brook - listed alphabetically and not by track order, to conceal who produced which work.
​​It marks the first release of an open-ended series scraping the spectrum for innovative pieces that the artists wouldn't have made public otherwise. All featured talent is emerging from different backgrounds ranging over Munich’s forefront of hypnotic sound to Sheffield's queer underground - yet this release offers a coherent experience for home immersion and club ignition alike.

While being mostly recognized for his organic blend of club music arrangements, “Galerie” emphasises a focus on field recordings, textures and striped-down abstraction. Over the course of 8 tracks Perko builds small worlds of tangible ambience and horizons of amiable beauty. The sense of ebb and flow throughout “Galerie” gives it a sense of contemplative weightlessness and the perception of mild sun glittering blindness.

Cinematic and spiritual sounds from Gi Gi, conjuring a quasi-religious trance and made entirely from samples - ncluding Prince, Vangelis, Erykah Badu, and Miles Davis - warped, blended and smoothed over beyond recognition.

At times melancholic and at times hopeful, these lush textural soundscapes are worthy of an introspective listen; lights off, candle lit and somewhere comfortable.
