Guy Gerber’s Rumors welcomes Italy’s Agents Of Time for an EP of delicately crafted dancefloor electronics in ‘Prince Of The Stars EP’ this March.
‘Mud Battles’ opens with muted and subdued tones, gently unravelling into a symphonic arrangement of analogue synthesis and 4/4 kick drums. ‘Rise To The Power’ picks up the pace with shuffling percussion and a series of melodic motifs before moving into an enticing extended breakdown.
On the flip, ‘Prince Of The Stars’ opens with fielding recordings alongside a skippy, broken beat, carrying the track through a sequence of emotive passages, a theme that continues with the final track on the 12”, ‘The King Of Our Days’. The digital-only ‘Jimmy The Jester’ adds a welcome bonus for USBs worldwide in the form of an acidic, low slung chugger, an exceptional closer to a standout EP.
Agents Of Time have been impressing audiences since 2013 via the likes of Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio and Kompakt, alongside their own Obscura imprint. Turning their sights to Guy Gerber’s enchanting Rumors label, the outfit draw on years of experience to deliver an EP drenched in dreamy downtempo atmospherics.

Adhémar is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works. Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.

But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

At the beginning of 2019, he released his first work 'A Vision Of Light' in Danza Nativa, where currently he is one of the pillars of the label based in Buenos Aires.

Forest On Stasys 는 Danza Nativa 의 오너이자 전자음악의 탐구자이다.

그의 창의성은 90년대의 부족적 미니멀 테크노와 최근의 깊고 추상적인 테크노에 영향받았다. 그의 트랙에서 가장 매혹적인 요소는 공명하는 베이스들과 길고 리버브된 패드, LFO 의 운동과 견고한 그루브 그리고 격렬한 퍼커션으로 지속되는 광활한 음향적 랜드스케이프의 완벽한 조화이다. 

하지만 그의 머리에서 나오는 모든것들이 댄스 플로어를 위한 것은 아니다. 그는 리듬적 패턴이 없고 청자들에게 강한 멜랑콜리 혹은 현재의 기분에 의존하는 느낌을 선사할 수 있는, 매혹적 멜로디들을 가지는 드론과 앰비언트 트랙들에도 훌륭한 영감을 가지고 있다.

2019년 초에, 그는그의 첫 번째 작업 'A Vision of Light' 를 그가 부에노스 아이레스에서 운영중인 Danza Nativa 에서 발매했다.

Sound, when alive, is a restless organism. And the sound that rises from Outpost's production is a pulsating life in continuous and relentless evolution. The simple attempt of defining it ends up bridling even the farthest idea of prismatic production. But what's inside Outpost – which prolifically unravels – is also the result of an immense study. These are seeds whose mysterious growth cannot be told, but just enjoyed. The journey is concrete and pulses in the nerves of who's in it. It departs from internal dimensions in the shape of a (just apparently) distant Earth; it moves between the broken rhythmics of hypnotic loops. And, finally, lands to resonate as a new, aesthetic awareness; as a new approach to the sound matter.
