With a remix and a compilation cameo already under his belt, Canadian figurehead Priori makes his Kalahari return for the debut proper. 3 squelchy incursions complete with a hefty remix from fellow Oyster Cult acolyte Sansibar.

Known for traversing breezy, horizontal zones, the NAFF co-founder sets downbeat and ambient concerns aside for the direct and propulsive. Expect insistent, urgent forays down the wormhole as nocturnal jaunts made of ritual and darkroom throb coalesce with meditative, essential rhythm.

This is fractal gear born from the the traditions of European, Japanese and American Mid-West techno; tunnelling and immersive, conjuring moments of ascension for the gathered masses.

Finishing on Sansibar’s meaty refit, the one-two punch of seismic kick and dry-as-bone snare propels Priori’s original in a whole new direction.

Long time friends Big City Bill and Neil E meet for a split EP of groovy driving house dubs on Naarm’s Spincycle Records. The BBV is laid out with kicking drums and lightly tapping percussions. A washed out pad drifts in and out sprinkling magic over listeners while an organ like bassline propels. It’s a slightly cheeky groove that makes you want to kick off your shoes and watch the sun go down with your friends. The programming is catchy and yet still kind of sneaks up, unfolding as the snappy hats and clap are revealed. Neil E’s contribution to Spincycle fits well next to their first release, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was also found in the record bags of discerning tech or progressive selectors.

On the flipside is Big City Bill’s, ‘Dry Rub’ a wiggly fun number that is bound to keep summer dancefloors bounding.

High Hoops presents a compilation of electronic tracks from artists across the globe to celebrate 10 years of ‘love on the dance floor’ and to raise funds for three amazing charities.

Proceeds from this compilation will be shared with the LGBT Foundation, Mermaids and Meningitis now, in memory of our friends Ash, Alex T and Willow.

[HARMONY020]— One year from Ayū’s debut on Harmony—Neon Affair, four artists closely connected to the release were invited to remix their favorite track from the record. The result is a new remix EP featuring a dancefloor-driven A-side, crafted for peak-time energy, and a B-side dedicated to closing sets and trippy storytelling.

Side A opens with Maara’s remix of “Space to Come”- a progressive, sexy spacey journey with muttered vocals and a blissed-out groove, blended with her iconic sound. Keeping up with the dance-floor energy, Spray delivers a dreamy yet bubbly take on “Point Nemo.” Spray’s take showcases his distinctive musical patterns, and fuzzy textures.

The B-side remix by Harmony's Alfred Czital and Jeku sends the record to late hours of party. Jeku’s version of “Neon Affair” brings driving drumlines and euphoric prog beats, layered with hypnotic, trippy touches - sweet, yet dirty. Alfred Czital closes the record with his Dream Mix of “Space to Come,” an exciting and misty journey through sound - playful, metaphysical, and the perfect closing track for extended parties.

Ser Martin is a selector, producer, and promoter exploring the hidden facets of underground techno and house. As a resident of Kazan’s art center Werk and creator of the micro-media ༒KT༒, Sergey makes a significant contribution to the development of the local scene.
His performances, alongside venues in Tbilisi and Yerevan, are remembered by the walls of capital and regional clubs, and in 2023 the artist had the opportunity to perform at the Signal festival.
The musician’s debut EP was released on the Welofi label in 2025. The release features a synthesis of house, techno, trance, bass, and breakbeat with hints of abstract textures.
