Aquedeux es Robyn de Jager, un productora de psytrance nacida y que actualmente reside en Sudáfrica. La música siempre ha sido una parte integral de su vida. Comenzó a tocar el piano a los 3 años y el violín a los 11 años y asistió a una escuela secundaria de artes donde estudió música clásica. Ella descubrió la música electrónica y más particularmente el psytrance bastante tarde en la vida, en 2011 durante su último año en la universidad. Inmediatamente se enamoró de esta extraña música nueva, principalmente porque tenía una sincronización perfecta y sonidos increíbles que nunca había imaginado que podrían existir.

En 2012 pasó el año en Ciudad del Cabo aprendiendo a hacer psytrance bajo la tutoría magistral de Xatrik y desde entonces solo ha ido ganando fuerza como productora. Su entrenamiento clásico es claramente palpable en su música y su sonido característico se caracteriza por melodías elegantes, armonías complejas, entrelazadas y ritmos convincentes. Con su canción debut Subconscious Telepathy lanzada por Phonix Records en 2015, el emocionante viaje de esta artista al reino de la brujería sonora acaba de comenzar y espera continuar entrando y atrapando sus mentes y corazones con su música durante mucho tiempo para ven.

Aquedeux (pronounced a-qua-dew) is Robyn de Jager, a psytrance producer born and currently residing in South Africa. Music has always been an integral part of her life. She began playing the piano at the age of 3 and violin at the age of 11 and attended an arts high school where she studied classical music. She discovered electronic music and, more particularly, psytrance quite late in life – in 2011, during her last year at university. She immediately fell in love with this strange new music, mainly because it had perfect timing and amazing sounds she had never imagined could exist.

In 2012 she spent the year in Cape Town learning how to make psytrance under the masterful tutorship of Xatrik and since then has only gone from strength to strength as a producer. Her classical training is clearly palpable in her music, with her signature sound being characterised by elegant melodies, complex, interwoven harmonies and compelling rhythms. With her debut track Subconscious Telepathy having been released by Phonix Records in 2015, this artist’s exciting journey into the realm of sonic sorcery has only just begun and she hopes to continue to entrance and ensnare your minds & hearts with her music for a long time to come.
