The first touch they had with Psytrance wasin the middle of 90ties. Sebastian starts his DJ career (DJWindwanderer) and Fabian was just dancing until he makeshis first steps in producing in 1999. After a couple ofdifferent projects they founded Second Side in 2014.The result of countless hours shared in the studio is athrilling psytrance peppered with melodies that go right intothe fingertips and a bass line that force the body to dance.With each track they telling a story that never seems toend.They already had gigs in Copenhagen, The Hague, Zurich,Hamburg, Berlin and many other cities in Germany. Rene &amp; Martin met in the mid nineties, when they were both were part of a Copenhagen based party-organiser-team called ROTUNDUM.
Both in love with the deep dark and slow tunes played in the morning at their parties, they also very much loved the twisted psychedelic goa-trance sounds that housed the night.
So when they decided to join musical forces in '98, it was a mixture of those two genres that ultimately led to the uniquely characteristic Beat Bizarre sound - not knowing that this new fusion was about to start a movement later known as "Progressive Trance".
This unique sound spoke to people from all over the world - so when LEWD was released in 2001 as the second album release from Iboga, it was an instant success, giving Rene &amp; Martin the opportunity to travel the world with their Beat Bizarre project and play at some of the greatest parties ever made!
The timeless sound of the LEWD album gives it a fresh feel to this day, and makes it a welcome addition on any psychedelic dance floors. The remastered sound gives this impactful album a newly polished finish, paying homage to its timeless place in the heart of progressive psytrance lovers, while also introducing the unique Beat Bizarre sound to a new generation of listeners.

KHA025 witnesses the return of Decibel Place to Khazad records for his first full length EP on the label.

Liverpool's Decibel Place is an artist who has recently emerged on to the Northern UK and wider techno scene with a flurry of exceptionally produced releases. With a focus on utilising powerful, energetic and rolling percussive elements within his tracks, his sound is an ideal fit for Khazad.

The "Broken Neck EP" is an exploration of energy and movement through repetitive call and response. Each track is able to develop a hypnotic like feeling but with a percussive toughness and vitality that primes them for a dark warehouse or club environment.

Also featured on the EP is a shadowy reimagining of "Tekowah" by Decadence who returns to the label following a fantastic submission on the recent Various Artists compilation. With this remix, Decadence maintains the raw driving energy of the original track but implements a gloomy atmosphere and intensity.
