I’m deeply moved to share "Asfur," my second collaboration with Pettra after our track "Savta." On October 7th, I lost my eldest son, Laor, in the attack at the Nova Festival. It was the hardest moment of my life. In such times, music became a source of healing for me, helping to find a way forward through the pain. In this hard moment Jonatan (Pettra) and I found ourselves back in the studio, letting the music offer solace and strength in the face of immense grief.
Jonatan played a vocal he had recorded, which translates to "My bird, My child" in Arabic. Hearing those words hit me deeply, capturing the loss and sadness I felt for Laor.
Creating "Asfur" became a way to heal and move forward, even through the pain. This track is an invitation for everyone to feel their emotions, connect with the music, and find some comfort in the rhythm.
I’m excited to announce that "Asfur" will be released on October 24th under  Shamanic Tales label.
