El sonido Hi-Fi o de alta fidelidad, se produce cuando los equipos de audio buscan una distorsión mínima del sonido original.

La tecnología del formato CD fue desarrollada a finales de los años 70 por Philips y Sony, y fueron los ingenieros de esta última compañía los que propusieron codificar la información utilizando una resolución de 16 bits y una frecuencia de muestreo de 44,1 kHz. Pero estas cifras no fueron elegidas al azar; estas especificaciones permiten a este formato reproducir los sonidos que se encuentran en el rango de frecuencias que va desde 20 Hz a 20 kHz, que coincide con bastante precisión con el límite de frecuencias que es capaz de percibir el sistema auditivo humano, aun teniendo presente que no todas las personas tenemos la misma capacidad auditiva.

In 'Yababa' (Tunisian Mix), the Canarian DJ/producer casts a bustling musical sojourn rife with vigorous Near East instrumentals, visceral Afro rhythms and a crisp house groove . Preserving Latrouch's reverent poetry at the marrow, Fierro's rendition uplifts the original's timber while nimbly integrating his unique touch and forward thinking dancefloor perspective. The hardest working man in showbiz is back with four wonky balearic-not-balearic wobblers, cementing his reputation as one of the UK's best producers of downtempo, leftfield grooves.

Love Tracks loads a sample into the funk machine and presses the big red button. What comes out the other end has dub efx, vocal samples, and delays aplenty for a trip into 70s disco space.

Next up, Is It Daylight? takes the groove deep with shimmering synths and tripped out arpeggiated samples. Late night, hypnotic and mesmerising.

Female Planet takes Compass Point as the starting line and does a hard left. 80s bass, dub, broken beats, disco and female empowerment blend into underground party music  wearing a smile.
