A relatively obscure & hard to find Jeno classic mix, due to being somewhat overshadowed by the "Jeno - United DJ's of America" CD that came out around the same time, but this is an equally entertaining & energetic blueprint of the mid-90s West Coast sound..

I recorded this set live on DAT at the Wicked Full Moon on Bonnie Doon Beach in Santa Cruz, March 7, 1993.

This is easily one of my favorite recordings of all time.  Presented here are 78 minutes (1 CD) of a much longer, late night set on the beach.  Jeno goes from classic breaks to house to acid, as only he could.  You'll dance your ass off!!!

Thanks to Torin for returning a copy of this CD to me.  While I have hundreds of hours of live sets from the early 90's recorded on DAT, saved safe and sound, they all need to be copied to computer some day.  Lots of real-time transfers to do.   Luckily, years ago, I made a few CDs like this one...  Enjoy!

Let's take you back to 1998 to the legendary Living Room Club in South Beach, FL. At this point the Ovum party became the place to be at the Winter Music Conference and kicked the week off being on a Sunday Night. During this era, the conference was starting to rapidly grow, but the parties were still about hanging with your peers in the industry with a mixing of fans from around the world. During this time you could envision a mix from luminaries from all facets of the dance music world all coming together to dance and party with their friends. This is part three of a series of sets we look forward to bringing you over the next few weeks as we all come together during these difficult times. This is the final set from the main room of this legendary night at the Living Room. Doc Martin took over after a rare live set from Carl Craig as Paperclip People. Doc debuted Eddie Amador's House Music during this special closing set. We hope everyone has been enjoying these sets as much as we have sharing them with you. The Essential Mix is a weekly radio show on BBC Radio 1 currently broadcast between 0:00 - 2:00 AM UK time on Saturday morning. Originally broadcast on 30 October 1993, the Essential Mix features contemporary DJ's and music producers of electronic dance music.
