Chicago-based artist Sherm has never stopped his relentless pursuit to create and influence since his start in 2014. His artistry and passion has given him global recognition for his accomplishments in the music industry as a DJ, Producer, A&R and Podcast Host. 

Sherm's undeniable ability to entertain is what sets him apart. He has a 360 degree skillset including performing in front of thousands at festivals, producing memorable dance music, hosting live podcasts, signing chart-topping tracks, and moderating engaging panels. 

As a DJ, Sherm has performed in major markets including San Francisco, Denver, San Diego, NYC, and Miami. Sherm has supported artists like Armin Van Buuren, Galantis, John Summit, Matroda, ACRAZE, Lost Kings, Gorgon City, Cash Cash, Shiba San, Bijou, and Walker and Royce. He has also performed at festivals including North Coast, Volleywood, Home Bass, and Amsterdam Dance Event. 

Sherm also acts as A&R for Hood Politics Records, where he has had massive influence on the label’s identity and future trajectory. The San Diego-based record label founded by DJ Susan has signed artists such as John Summit, Franky Wah, Chapter & Verse, Max Styler, Wenzday, Cloverdale, Return of the Jaded, and Jake Shore. 

With 200+ episodes released to date, his podcast Sherm In The Booth has featured global touring acts including CID, Westend, Autograf, Honeyluv, Roland Clark, Parker Cohen, LA Riots, Masteria and many more. 

With Sherm's influence growing in so many aspects of the music industry, it's clear that he is just getting started.

I remember the first time ever that I picked up the pen and pad to write my very first song, which was about my freshman basketball coach. It was a diss track that me and my boy put together because he wasn't giving us the play time that we thought we deserved. "You Here the f'n fans, screamin in the stands, they tellin him you sorry, f u coach ______". I won't say the name but after that we kind of just started rapping on a regular. I really felt I had the voice for music whenever I first touched the fabulous beat called "Can't Leave You Alone". People were really praising what I was doing and kept telling me I should keep at it, that I could really go places. That was in 2003 and as you can see I'm still trying to go places. I do this for the love of it and of course it would be nice to live out my dream as a rapper but in the end God may have other plans for me. As of right now, present time, I'm still striving for that dream and I hope all my fans that have been following me throughout the years still believe in the work I'm doing. Trust me, I know it's been a long time coming. I have been on and off with the music but lately but I've hit this stride that has me feelin like I can do anything when its time to hit up that studio. Everything feels different this time around and I just want to do me. BEBO, "Be Extraordinary Be Original" I want people to see what my life's really like, no filter. If you know me and you know what I've done then you know I've done some pretty big numbers and have headlined some pretty big shows with some pretty big stars. That's old news, the past is the past and in this new chapter I'm only as good as my last album and right now i don't even have a last album it has been so long. This time you're going to get me as you never seen me before. The young boy who came straight up out The Cross where dreams die and only the real ones survive. From the SUM to WIT, I'm here to make history for my city and start a legacy that wont be forgotten.
