Oxide Tones is a small store and label specialising in Post Rock, ambient, drone and Math Rock. The idea is simply to help people get some decent music for a decent price, in combination with helping small bands get a foot in the door. Based in Germany, Oxide Tones now also has a shipping base in Austin texas, to avoid high shipping costs for North American customers.
Oxide Tones has only been going as a label since early 2011, and the demand has been so good that within the first year, over 10 releases were made. Names such as Mooncake, Collapse Under The Empire, Tunturia and The Echelon Effect have been glad to find a helping hand at Oxide Tones, as well as other "newer" artists like Circadian Eyes, This Patch of Sky and Until Sunrise.
