Horizonte Lied is an electro alternative band from Monterrey, Mexico that delivers modern synth-pop, industrial, electro, and new wave sound with some industrial dark moods.

Currently releasing and promoting the long-term project "Final Remasters" scheduled to conclude in 2024.

Horizonte Lied was born in June 1992, and several members have participated since its inception, under the influence of bands such as Depeche Mode, Clan of Xymox, Recoil, and Nine Inch Nails.

The band remained 'underground' until 1996, when the band decided to change its name to Horizon Lied (previously called Horizon Limit); The word LIED is of German origin used since the 18th century and represents one of the most important poetic-musical art forms of all time (Franz Peter Shubert established the German 'Lied' as a new art form in the 19th century).
The band tries exactly to establish a new way of exposing their music, which is complemented by the vision and inspiration that the concept of 'Horizonte' projects.
It is not until 1999 that the band begins to seriously plan the recording of their first album.

Unfortunately due to personal issues, the band delayed the recording sessions for 2 years. But finally, in October 2002, they released their first single: 'Destello Inmortal';
the good rotation that the song receives on the internet opens the doors for them to be invited to be the opening band of the renowned cult gothic band Clan of Xymox at the end of that same year in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

In March 2003, they finally released their first album called 'Memorias de Crónicas Futuras' with a very good reception in the underground electro scene, despite the scarce marketing that was handled around it, limiting it to only internet distribution.
Despite this, the band released a second single from the same album called 'Iluminado' in November 2003.

In December of that same year, the band was invited to play at the 'Secuencia 001' festival in Mexico City, alternating with the bands: Planet Pop and Nexus 8, at the Dada X club, this being their last live performance, since the beginning of 2004 the group takes a break and only works producing remixes for other bands (Eurovision, Brand New Day).

At the end of 2005, the band got together again and started new recording sessions for a new album, and managed to do some live performances again in 2006.
Throughout 2007, intermittent recording of new material continues, and a promotional compilation album is planned.
In the middle of 2008, the web single "El Día Después" was released.

During the following years and between several hiatus periods, various songs were released casually without much promotion on Soundcloud and Reverbnation, some of them were part of the unreleased compilation EP "Nuevos Horizontes" as well as updated versions of the first songs of the band, which later changed to an unreleased EP that will be included in the FINAL REMASTERS project in 2025.

Caótica, fue una banda regiomontana de mediados de los años 90´s

A principios de 1996 Rebecca y Yussén, abandonan el proyecto de "Nosotros los Pobres" y se ponen "grave y grabe" puras improvisaciones (Cerca de 20) en un Ministudio Fostex 4ch+1 mic ambiental, las cuales posteriormente servirían como base para programar sin metrónomo en Cakewalk.

A finales de 1996, ya teniendo maquetas y un poco de dinero, las pistas son mezcladas en una sola toma simultánea, vía midi, con diferentes módulos y teclados en el Colegio de Ingenieros en Audio, por Yoshio Furukawa y en Mastermix, por Mauricio (olvidé el apellido).

En 1997 se graban guitarras y voces en una sola toma en 101, por Antonio de los Santos.

Caótica forma el colectivo transdisciplinario "Emigrantes", convocando a más de 15 artistas en participación simultánea e incorporando escenografía y visuales.

Emigrantes y Caótica salen de circulación a finales de 1999.
