Timothy Allen returns to the Smash The House family with ‘The Sound’, where electro meets dubstep in this latest club masterpiece, fresh for the season. 
The clear instructions from Timothy Allen with the vocal of “Dance with The Groove, All You Got to Do Is Move” merge with a high-pitched synth melody and the low bassline that will force you to dance. As the spoken word begins “Can You Hear The Sound” echoes before dropping into a heavy bassline and makes the BPM’s bounce. ‘The Sound’ has flashes of siren sounds throughout the record that add a rushing urgency, the repetitive melody that builds the breakdown into its final drop and Timothy Allen’s production moves into the world of dubstep to make ‘The Sound’ a whirlwind of excitement on the dancefloor. 
Timothy Allen has already gained massive support from Tïesto and Fredde Le Grand after establishing himself less than two years ago in the electronic dance music scene, moving on from producing techno under another identity. Timothy Allen has previous releases on the Smash The House imprint such as ‘Telling Me’ via Smash Deep, the DJ/Producer from the Netherlands has smashed it again with ‘The Sound’.

'A year after ‘The First Milestone’ we can say that Infinite Depth reached its second milestone. Around this milestone a 10-track strong VA is compiled. On this VA there are some of the label’s familiar faces like His. Creator, U S H N U, Klankveld, Alberth and Symmetric. Besides, we are having back Convolute, Altman and bastinov from earlier remix duties. Also, Infinite Depth is welcoming two new talents, Final Request and Dario Gismondi. 

The sixth of the VA track is the one by bastinov, called ‘Transition’ and is belonging to the brighter and emotional side of the VA. The track got directed by dramatic female vocals, which are perfectly in play together with the bright lead synths.'

Returning to Récits de Mars, Kapibara deliver Gaboon, and includes a Jay Fase Remix. Kapibara's music has graced Frau Blau, Metrica, Bar 25, Atmosphere, Chapter 24 and of course are regulars on Récits de Mars. The title track 'Gaboon' opens the EP, and a percussion and melodic deep voyage ensues, with its mesmerising vibes emitting coolness from every pore. The track builds in intensity as layers unfurl their magic, and pack a mighty punch.

Stepping up on remix duties Jay Fase. With his music appearing on Moblack and Switchlab, and previously being part of the duo Rey (who were awarded with several gold and platinum discs), he is no stranger to making a solid slab of music. This remix takes things deep, afro edged, tinkly toned, a slight wobbliness and plenty of drive. 'Tomodon' rounds the release superbly. A dirty and bouncy affair, where dreaminess glides across before dance floor relentlessness returns.

Pretty much all of us know the movie “Inception”, right? Habischman wanted to create a song following this concept so when he bumped into Brydon Hulse from Skymachine they got into the studio and magic happened.

A Dream Within A Dream was recorded in London with a HA-872 microphone and mixed with an old analog desk, giving this characteristic sound to the song, after a 1-hour jam between Habischman and Brydon. Isn’t this magic?

Remixing this gem, Edu Imbernon in an unexpected journey to the 80’s sounds blended with flying melodies and a huge breakdown.

Aera is the second name for remixing. He loves the idea of dreams within dreams. Actually the idea of the main synth sound came to his mind one morning while waking up. It was only a matter of recording it!

Closing the release, a special 4/4 edit of the original for the late-night sounds lovers.
