This is the third installment in the Local Sugar Diggers Series from Scruniversal in which old and rare records from the label head's friend's collections get reworked and edited. This one is a collab between ScruScru and an equally passionate digger from Cyprus known as Dwaal. Both tunes offer quite different looks but with great results. The first is the steamy and loose-limbed 'Destination? Funk!' with its squelchy bass and neat guitar riffs, while the flipside is a super deep and lush downtempo jam, 'Camelot Chill'. This one has romantic sax notes and gentle grooves with jazzy keys finishing it in style.

The second edition of the Rose Records limited 10" series comes courtesy of Junktion, whose releases on the likes of Outplay and Slow Town didn't only sell out at breakneck speed but also established him as one of Holland's biggest talents in discerning deephouse/disco circles.

Junktion does what he does best on this delightful little platter. The lolloping 'Running for Whatever' on the A is as infectious as they come, with loads of clever samples arranged over classy rolling drums and a deep, rubbery bassline. Flip over for Pale Blue Dot, a slightly tougher, trippier uptempo workout with spaced out pads, big drums, crisp hats and massive synth stabs that should whip up a real frenzy in a packed club. Killer pair of tunes from a producer that's very much on top of his game.

Symphonia is a dark, seductive trap × EDM masterpiece where symphonic strings, gothic choirs, and deep 808 slides collide with lustful synths and hypnotic rhythms. It evokes the atmosphere of a forbidden masquerade in a luxury palace, where power, temptation, and sin dance together until dawn. Each drop feels like a descent into desire, every orchestral stab a reminder of the erotic tension between danger and ecstasy. Perfect for midnight DJ sets, underground luxury clubs, and cinematic performances.

"New York City disco party freaks @kaviardiscoclub Club are planning to inject their flavor into the vinyl game. The label (which shares the same branding as the event collective) is kicking things off with a four track V/A showcasing cuts from Philly and NYC based producers, including @JacquesRenault of Let's Play House (@lphnyc) fame, as well as Matpat, Evan Michael (@evvnmichael) and co-founder Higgins (@higginsaudio). The imprint - both for this release and going forward - aims to curate slick, New York style disco vibes from regional producers."
