New Mix: A Journey Through Sound

This mix was a special one—an exploration of different genres, blending styles from across the musical spectrum. From deep basslines to uplifting melodies, and smooth transitions to unexpected drops, I wanted to create a journey that keeps you on your toes and makes you feel something new with every track.

Mixing these diverse sounds was such an incredible experience, allowing me to play around with different energies and moods. It’s all about breaking boundaries and bringing together what might not always seem to fit at first, but in the end, everything connects.

Oz Man - Summer Vibes

Time flies when you’re having fun, right? We celebrated Steven’s 20 years in the photography world—along with his 45th birthday!

I met Basspics years ago, probably around the time I started with photography about 15 years ago. Maybe a little later, but that doesn’t really matter. Our paths crossed often, and we’ve even shot together a few times.

We always have our yearly reunion at Extrema—it’s a blast, and yes, sometimes we’ve had a few too many drinks. We take turns though! Someone’s got to be the responsible one and take pictures, haha!

It was absolute honor to be part of his celebration, and I know I’ll see plenty of familiar faces. Plus,I was excited to share the decks with some incredible DJs.

Played from 8pm to 9pm, and I got something special planned—something a bit different than my usual set.

20yrs Basspics

Cello and I first connected when we shared the decks at Grand Bazar in Brussels, and we’ve kept in touch ever since. When he heard I’d be in Berlin during his birthday weekend, he invited me to play a set, and I’m so grateful for the trust and the opportunity. That night was unforgettable – I met incredible people and shared the dance floor with some amazing souls. Thank you, Cello, for making it a night to remember!

Ry X’s music has a way of hitting me right in the soul. His voice, his melodies, the amazing collaborations. As a DJ, I’m always drawn to music that connects on a deeper level, and his tracks do that every single time.

That’s why I felt like I had to do a tribute set and because in 2025 he will be performing in Belgium. Not just playing his songs, but searching for versions that fit my style (deep, melodic, organic, downtempo).

He’s done some amazing collaborations too—Jan Blomqvist, Agents of Time, Amé, Cassian, Notre Dame—all artists whose work I admire. 

This set is my tribute. A way to share how much his music inspires me and to take you on that journey too. Let’s geaux and get lost in it together.

Le Belgica is more than just a bar—it’s an iconic LGBTQI+ venue in the heart of Brussels, known for its vibrant queer nightlife, welcoming atmosphere, and unforgettable evenings. Never in my life did I think I would have the chance to DJ at this legendary spot. I’ve often enjoyed drinks here with friends, soaking in the energy, but stepping behind the decks was a whole new experience.  

The night was pure magic. The bar was packed, the crowd was alive—dancing, smiling, flirting, and embracing the moment. I played a fully improvised set, guided by the happy vibes of the room, and the energy was electric from start to finish.  

A huge thank you to **Grand Bazar** for the invitation and to everyone who came out to support. Your energy made this night truly unforgettable.  

And one tip for everyone: **dream big—because you never know when your moment will come.**

For this occasion, I went back to the roots of Oz Man — blending organic house, downtempo, house, melodic house, and afro house into one deep and heartfelt set. 🎶

This was my second time at the Origins party concept— the first was a spontaneous, last-minute set, but this time it felt even more intentional, powerful, and full of love.

What a night to remember at Apero in Leuven!
This time I had the honor of going back-to-back (B2B) with my brother from another mother, Arkim Diab. We started with a wild 2-on-2 DJ session, then switched to 1-on-1, creating an amazing musical flow. Towards the end, we pushed the energy even higher with crazy tempo changes, spinning one track after another without thinking too much — pure connection and pure vibe!

We took the Leuven nightlife to another level with a journey through melodic house, afro beats, retro and groovy house music, all in line with the Origins concept — resonating with our musical roots and sharing it with all the party people out there. 🎉

This set was a little different. I started off on a more indie-inspired vibe, slowly weaving my way through a blend of deep, melodic, organic, and housey textures. Felt like the perfect place to experiment and let the energy evolve naturally.

What a night to remember! Celebrating Jerre’s 40th birthday on a boat, surrounded by beautiful people, an incredible vibe, and a truly amazing lineup.

It was a huge honour to be part of the festivities alongside some of my DJ friends and heroes—the very people I’ve looked up to for years. Sharing the decks in such a special setting made it all the more meaningful.

For my set, I went with a blend of downtempo, organic, and melodic tunes to match the flow of the evening and the rhythm of the water.

Oz Man - Chill Vibes

Having spent several years immersed in the nightlife scene as a photographer, surrounded by music, events, and DJs, it was only natural for him to develop a deep curiosity for DJing. His passion for music evolved into a desire to take people on a musical journey, introducing them to his culture and heritage while also showcasing tracks from producers he admires.

The lockdown period provided the perfect opportunity for him to work on his skills. With the mentorship of numerous DJ friends, he used the time to practice and refine his craft. Two years later, he made his DJ debut at The Dansant (BE), where his photography career began. From there, gigs started to flow in, both in Belgium and abroad.

One of the highlights of his journey was mixing alongside his sidekick and “wifey” at the Grainfestival in Croatia, held at Peti Kupe. This unforgettable night left a lasting impression. His unique style soon led to opportunities to play at some of the most notable events, including Darklands, the largest fetish festival in Antwerp, and Cave in Brussels. In his hometown of Leuven, he also performed for T.A.N.Z.E.N. and eventually returned to where it all began, DJing once again for The Dansant.

His sets are a captivating blend of melodic, deep, tech, and organic house infused with chill beats. Each performance is like stepping into a special place where every note tells a story, every beat syncs with your heartbeat, and every drop amplifies the experience.
