What a night to remember at Apero in Leuven!
This time I had the honor of going back-to-back (B2B) with my brother from another mother, Arkim Diab. We started with a wild 2-on-2 DJ session, then switched to 1-on-1, creating an amazing musical flow. Towards the end, we pushed the energy even higher with crazy tempo changes, spinning one track after another without thinking too much — pure connection and pure vibe!

We took the Leuven nightlife to another level with a journey through melodic house, afro beats, retro and groovy house music, all in line with the Origins concept — resonating with our musical roots and sharing it with all the party people out there. 🎉

Teaming up together, rising stars Soleco and ART.CHITEC unveil their new collaboration ‘Need You’, out now on Like Mike’s label Green Room. A track perfect for the summer months thanks to its irresistible Afro House sound, it sees two artists who are inspired by the Balearic sound go on a sonic journey together. 

‘Need You’ takes the essence of the Mediterranean and bottles it up into a track, curating the ultimate sunset anthem for 2025. Taking listeners on a journey through intricate melodies, ‘Need You’ puts a big focus on its deep, atmospheric drum sounds and passionate vocals to capture a sun-drenched vibe, with those long Ibiza clubbing nights in mind. 

One to stir the Afro House community into a frenzy, it is set to be on rotation in playlists worldwide within the electronic music circuit. 

Spanish producer and DJ Soleco is an artist who is honing his craft to truly make a name for himself within the house realm. Drawing from a passion for music that has been building since childhood, Soleco found his calling through melodic & afro house and has so far been supported by the likes of Solomun and Black Coffee. Various projects of his has gained him 17 million streams and counting, with many more to come. 

Also hailing from the Spanish region, ART.CHITEC is a wizard of the dance floor. Known for his masterful selection of tracks when it comes to DJ sets in prestigious clubs and on festival stages, it's this skillset that has gained him resident DJ spots across some of the hottest clubs in Marbella. Gaining more and more attention with each of his releases, he is fast becoming an essential name within the Afro House circuit.

Having spent several years immersed in the nightlife scene as a photographer, surrounded by music, events, and DJs, it was only natural for him to develop a deep curiosity for DJing. His passion for music evolved into a desire to take people on a musical journey, introducing them to his culture and heritage while also showcasing tracks from producers he admires.

The lockdown period provided the perfect opportunity for him to work on his skills. With the mentorship of numerous DJ friends, he used the time to practice and refine his craft. Two years later, he made his DJ debut at The Dansant (BE), where his photography career began. From there, gigs started to flow in, both in Belgium and abroad.

One of the highlights of his journey was mixing alongside his sidekick and “wifey” at the Grainfestival in Croatia, held at Peti Kupe. This unforgettable night left a lasting impression. His unique style soon led to opportunities to play at some of the most notable events, including Darklands, the largest fetish festival in Antwerp, and Cave in Brussels. In his hometown of Leuven, he also performed for T.A.N.Z.E.N. and eventually returned to where it all began, DJing once again for The Dansant.

His sets are a captivating blend of melodic, deep, tech, and organic house infused with chill beats. Each performance is like stepping into a special place where every note tells a story, every beat syncs with your heartbeat, and every drop amplifies the experience.
