Leading the four-track EP, ‘Steamroller’ is an ecstatic and heavy-hitting number, using tense, chugging
build-ups and tripped out vocal chops for a certified big room smash. ‘Drumming Up’ follows suit with skippy
drums and entertaining vocals, with a deadly low-end culminating in a series of warehouse shattering drops.
On ‘Please Behave’, pounding kick drums meet wonky rave stabs, bringing hands-in-the-air euphoria before
the dub version of ‘Drumming Up’ rounds out the release, stripping back the vocals and honing in on the
immaculate, speaker rattling production.

Coming up next on Toolroom, the elusive Ango Tamarin is set to drop the stomping – ‘Can You Bang’. One of the buzziest artists to emerge in the last 12 Months, Tamarin is an artist on a seriously fast rise in 2022. Having recently released on Chris Lake’s Black Books label as well as dropping previous release on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records, Patrick Topping’s Trick, Yousef’s Circus Recordings and Eats Everything’s Edible imprint, it’s no wonder Ango Tamarin is one of the hottest acts on the circuit.

‘Can You Bang’ is one record that epitomises the sound that Toolroom built their house on; heavy hitting, peak-time club music that’ll tear the dance floor up. From the records thumping groove and juddering synth stabs, topped with the repeating vocal hook asking the question – ‘Can You Bang’, Toolroom have dropped one of the toughest records so far in 2022!
