Seattle’s Innerflight Music provides the platform for prolific Oregon-based DJ / producer Luke Mandala’s latest release, Infinite Inspiration. Luke has been previously found making serious waves with releases on the likes of Booka Shade Music, Desert Trax, and his own Activated Recordings imprint. His 2013 album Traverse made an appearance in the top Beatport charts across three different genres. For Infinite Inspiration Luke’s found a vocal muse in Molly Ponkevitch who lends her singing to three deep, techy house tracks accompanied by instrumentals and one alternate version. “Snap Intuit” is an organ bass line driven cut with a sharp percussive loop and ethereal breakdowns, at times washed with whirlwinds of synth and a wicked theremin sound. Molly’s voice is pitched and layered, creating a possessed, but soothing effect. On theTake Flight Version, the vocals are given more room to shine on their own as the track is transformed into a more techno-influenced percussive skeleton. “Love We Know” is space-treated, with every element having its optimal amount of reverb, rattling off loose pieces as it goes. The low end is short and fat, the rhythm made up of brittle hats and shakers, and the melodic content full of rich, resonating synths that really give the song an uplifting presence outside of its otherwise tracky composition. On this one the vocals are delivered in a drifting fashion and with the most tasteful of pop appeal. “Gut Streams” comes with a body jacking shuffle and bounce, incorporating elements of jungle-like broken tribal percussion and a menacingly distorted low end, but all at a house tempo. The vocal accents are airy and whisper-like, sweetly peppering the background when not seductively enticing front and center. All together the EP is bigger than just the dance floor, so don’t be surprised to find it keeping synapses firing off in the head well after it plays.
An instrumental version of this track will also be available on the release.

His piano inspirated bass house with lush patterns and breaking beats is very typical for Sebb who has set his sound by now. Perfect blend of retro touches but still keeping it 2014. Watch out.

On the remix side we have https://soundcloud.com/lessovsky who goes DEEP. A nice touch slick version with groovy beats and bass. Playing around with the vocal on top of the main beat. Hypnotic for sure.

On the second remix we find https://soundcloud.com/cucumbersmusic. We raise the bpm a bit and focus on the beat again. More scaled back but a lovely synth to fit the main melody. A nice break to make the track stand out.

Nuno Dos Santos, the Portugal-born Dutch national has a cheeky charm about him that is difficult to escape and that works so well in his favor when taking control of the decks.

Whether it’s running his own label Something Happening Somewhere, producing music, or DJing, you can feel that Nuno is utterly in love with what he does. As an acclaimed, he has worked with artists like Patrice Baumel, Estroe and TJ Kong and has done so on labels like Compost, Planet E, Green Records, Traum and Connaisseur. His sound is created using his deep knowledge of music and veers from sublime techno to more emotional house as exemplified by classic tracks like ‘Merging’, ‘Hamming’ and ‘Mon Toy'.

As a DJ Nuno Dos Santos has headlined the most upbeat clubs around Europe and America, including residencies at Trouw and Club 11, Amsterdam, where his unique sense of musical storytelling have developed and bloomed over the years.

So, with all that we present Nuno Dos Santos magnetic translation of Christian Löffler's 'Unknown' off the upcoming "LOST" EP. With hidden voices creating a dialogue between soulful ambients and dark atmosphere, this melancholic anthems is surely reminiscent of those never ending nights.

London had a lot to do with Hector Morillo’s break in music. After moving from Mexico to the capital he landed a job at Phonica Records, where getting to know Loco Dice and Anja Schneider helped him land releases on mobilee and Desolat. He was also a part of the famous T-Bar venue during Shoreditch’s early-2000s heyday, frequently playing alongside guys like Jamie Jones before they’d broken through. 

T-Bar has long since vanished from East London’s party circuit, and Hector’s profile now extends far beyond the capital too. A big part of this success has been Vatos Locos, the party and record label he runs from his Berlin home base. 

This summer he brought the party across Europe, including a residency at one of Ibiza’s most revered small venues, Underground. Hector also lands in Farringdon alongside key crew members Chad Andrew, David Gtronic and Randall M on 13th October, so we asked Hector for a mix and interview ahead of their appearance.

As always Kling Klong gives space for new artists and supports upcoming talents. This time Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold had no doubts signing this debut release from Stuttgart's dj/producer Ninetoes as 'Finder' is obviously a massive stand-out track which has the words 'summer hit' written all over it. So it was just easy to convince Leon and Re-UP from Italy to do the remixes and help to make this release even more oustanding.
