Sounds great..definitely could be a soundtrack ..good attention to detail.

This reminds me much on 80th psy rock..... and btw very nice track, sounds like a story to me, but views are different.... :)

Las Yuccas

"Winter Rain" is reminiscent of the winter months in Muizenberg which is on the south coast of South Africa. The rain is synonymous with winter in this region and was always accompanied with wind howling by the windows of my grandparents’ home, especially at night time. 

The piece has 4 piano files, two of these files gives a percussive effect and forward motion. The forward motion represents the ocean. The other piano file represents the main melody and movement of the rain which feels like an ocean wave in itself but inviting. The last piano file and the cello represents the light piercing through the rain but also the way in which the rain becomes an accompaniment against your skin when you least expected it. The double bass gives a deep resonance as the piece builds and contributes to the movement of the ocean waves as it crashes on the shore. 

The weather in Muizenberg can be rather unpredictable, it means you could be walking along and it would just suddenly start to rain. The rain always had a fleeting and soft feel against your skin, almost inviting. At night time when you lie in bed you couldn’t always discern the rain from the ocean, it was so soft and heartwarming at times. I remember, I would be lying awake at night or in the morning trying to tell the rain apart from the ocean. 

Enjoy the music and remember, "there is always more music coming!"

Temporal: Una canción que vino de la nada y fue tomando forma a medida que la iba cantando. Una conversación introvertida frente al espejo,  un estar aquí y ahora, tal vez! Tuvo muchos nombres anteriores pues, mientras sufría cambios me planteaba un destino, como sería mañana. Es a causa de la música que uno hace el mejor intento por buscar una perfección innecesaria a suceder. Entre tanto pensarla olvide  ponerle un coro para recordarla siendo arrasada por la lluvia y le puse  este nombre Temporal.




Bio Nazim Guerra

Joven músico y compositor cubano. Su primer acercamiento con la música fue a los dieciocho años. En su formación autodidacta aprendió a tocar la guitarra, el piano y la armónica, influenciado por una amplia variedad de géneros y artistas internacionales desde los años cincuenta hasta la actualidad del panorama occidental, americano y latinoamericano. En sus composiciones fusiona la canción de autor con elementos folclóricos de la música Soul, el filin, el blues, el jazz, Latin Pop, y el Rock. Actualmente se encuentra en estudio comprensión y acción de objetivos importantes como la distribución y promoción de su música. La intención con su proyecto musical es servir de puente e inspirar a quienes intentan superar cambios como la autoaceptación y la búsqueda de individualidad para construir su identidad.

Vedic mantras use the same power that we see in cymatics in which we're able to observe how sound waves reorganise grains of sand on a metal tray. In the same way, these ancient Indian mantras enter through our ears and reorganise our brain waves and thus how we feel. 

This particular one, the Shanti mantra, is a peace mantra because when meditated upon, it brings wonderful feelings of wellbeing and so is perfect for de-stressing and encourages, in that way, our energy fields to realign, to attract good blessings and fortune. 

Don't worry about the meaning of the Sanskrit words I'm chanting. Just let them wash over you... along with APi_ZZ's gorgeously enchanting music.
