One of the artists who caught our ear this year and has been making us move with both his original releases and mixes as well is none other than South Africa's own Das Kapital. Co-owner of Do Work and SEBENZA Records, he also hosts regularly broadcasted shows while also dropping some major tunes on other notable labels including Box of Cats, Audiophile XXL, and This Ain't Bristol.

Most recently, Das turned the dial up to make for an ever hotter summer with his recently released EP MORE WURK that dropped earlier this month on IN / ROTATION. Teaming up with Brazilian artists VINNE and RROTIK, this infectious EP has made for the perfect addition to his arsenal of hit tunes.

Now, to take things to another level this season, he's gifted us with a guest mix that is stocked full of unreal tunes that will surely make your booty shake from his own collection along with other stunners from the likes of J. Worra, Botnek, Will Clarke, and more.

Oz Makhosi is Vaal Triangle based Dubstep and electro house dj/ Producer, his sound is influenced by tribal sounds and that’s where he mainly gets his inspiration from. At his childhood moments hip hop music played a huge role in paving his path into the dynamic world of music, getting to understand the basics of creating music and learning its fundamentals.
He is part of a multimedia company called Zebra E Facts Pty Ltd, which also a storehouse for artists such as Master P and Craze Fam which consists of three members.
Studied photography at Vaal University of Technology but dropped out due to the lack of finance, that’s when he started pursuing his dream in being part of the South African music industry.
On the 29th of March 2014 Oz Makhosi released his first offering Sake of Words EP which consist of samples from Zolani Mkhiva (Praise Poet), Jessica Mbangeni to name a few. He currently shot a music video for one of the singles called Z’buyile Inkomo Z’katata which is doing good as far as the views as possible on Youtube.
He is currently working on his second offering Godhood EP, which features 2 international artists RW (@rwofficial) from Greece and Passim Dubstep from India Since his career in music took flight he has played in numerous clubs in Johannesburg and Vaal Triangle and he wishes to explore the international market as time gathers in strength.
