Until then, I invite you into my different visions of what music is. I apologize in advance for not having picked a path, as I sometimes find it suffocating to stay to a particular sound.

Like life, I stumble through songs until I find my way. I truly hope you enjoy these "small journeys" I have posted. They are just a short glimpse into my absurd mind and sometimes fragile emotions. I hope that this music takes you somewhere as it did for me.

A rebellious way to play rock for the youth not just your ordinary rock band. Standing up for our selves, honest single type of music which is different; pale in comparison to other genres. One genetic picture that automatically describes the nature of what The Mighty Schooners create could be that of a creative experimentation. Whether it is the misconception of the artist, or the representation of an art form, which signifies true emotions and dreamlike feelings; it is still all about the medium that they represent mirroring every virtue and every vice. 

“Communication between the people and the individual/ artist or whatever you want to call it, can create a whole universe of education. You offer something and they give you back, you take that feedback and you merge it into yr creations…
…As a producer I had to challenge myself many times to find a way to combine genres, break the mainstream labels and in a way bring anarchy to my productions. I have to isolate myself from the rapidity of the modern era and concentrate to create something relevant and consistent.”

The Mighty Schooners discography features 2 single releases and their first homonymous album released 13/02/2018. As a part of the aforesaid ‘education’ the group always try to challenge emotionality and intellectuality the listeners. For their first full length album the band collaborated with many talented artists from different acoustic backgrounds. This experimentation, forms the main essence of the band and the symbolism of the mask.

The mask is a catalyst of genre intermix; a call for different people of different tastes to experience other genres, whilst accommodating the bands dynamic perspective/ style. Focus is based on the most important factor that is music. Appearance has nothing to do with what we represent. On the contrary, Dyson Sinn a.k.a. The Mighty Schooners, is a persona created and focused around and into music.

The band does not only core on the aspect of music but art as a whole. This is why the collaboration aspect is not only limited to musicians, but also illustrationists, sculptors, painters, fashion designers and so on.
The Mighty Schooners first official video clip was released summer of 2017 and marked the cornerstone for an array of videos which will accommodate each and every track from the new album. The Band also featured the theme song of the animated series called “Time Eagle Freedom Defender” and some promo tunes for “Rick and Morty “due to release later in 2018.

Welcome to Water District, where you will find authentic indie pop rock with a modern emo spin. This exuberant Los Angeles trio blends influences from the indie rock sound of the 2000s with fluid new wave melodies and lyrics influenced by The Smiths and The Cure. Water District re-imagines pop rock for the new generation, who are ready for a return to emotionally sincere and harmonious music.

Inspired by his artistic upbringing in Southern California—his mother is a painter and his father was a mod rocker in the 1960s—lead singer Tice Griffin recorded his first demo when he was 19 and went on his first West Coast tour shortly thereafter. While living in a van outside of a studio where he worked as a technician, Griffin envisioned himself as the front man for his own band and committed himself to pursuing his dream. Since then, Water District has released a demo album, an EP and various singles, to critical acclaim and national airplay. The band is rounded out by Erik Williams on drums and Ryan Scottie on bass.
