Parvati Records' label manager Giuseppe leads us into his dark forest on 10th October 2013 Thursday 8pm CET on the Trance channel.
There is really nothing to add, he says it all: "I consider myself a world citizen, I am a nomadic spirit and I feel alive when I am on the road !!!! My first encounter with the scene happened in 1986 @ full moon party in Goa and in the early 90s I got introduced for real to Psychedelic Trance Music. During the summer of 2000, based in Aarhus, Denmark, I founded Parvati Records! The Label’s Vision was, and still is, to create a platform for psy-trance producers from the global underground scene. Since the start of the Label I have tried to pay attention to artists who explore and push the borders of electronic psychedelic trance music having also a friendly approach to the dancefloor: being innovative, avandgarded and try to reach, aggregate and stimulate wider audiences! As Label Manager I have compiled so far all the Parvati releases, except prvcd19 and prvcd24 Brainzcrew 1 and 2 compiled by Dj Ilse, and since 2004 I have started to play dj sets at parties and festivals, presenting a selection of the music released on Parvati and the demos arriving at the Label. The Music and the Label have brought me around the world, giving me the chance to meet and interact with lots of nice people in India, Japan, Taiwan, Nepal, California, Brasil, Costa Rica, Denmark, Greece, Belgium, Portugal, Macedonia, Croatia, Turkey, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Romania, Finland, Norway, UK, Hungary, Montenegro, Austria, Slovakia, Dubai, South Africa, Marocco, Skotland and to play from small intimate family parties to big gatherings as Ozora (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013), Universo Paralello (2011), Boom (2012) and Eclipse 2012 in Australia."

The next showcase will be performed by JAHBO, one of the oldest members of Parvati Records. This mix features a one hour journey through the Red Eye Jah universe. A side of Rolike Jahbo together with Stephanus Smit ( Red Eye Jedi).
They released already 6 tracks under this project during the last years, and are working hard on more and expect more coming out this and next year.
Red Eye Jah will perform for their first liveset this year at Midnight Sun Festival.

Jahbo was born as Roelike Bunzendahl in 1981 in a hippie society in the north of Denmark.
As a basic member of Parvati Records he started to appear on this label acts like a pioneer in the psytrance scene since it’s beginning as well as the confidential person for Giuseppe, and relentless helped building up this special base for the extraordinariness in the music scene.

Working in a music shop in a long period of his real life he is always refining his production skills meticulously to define his extraordinary and most definitely recognizable style at his recent state of the art and his tracks basically have this special charme of a tripped out mushroom atmosphere.

Morphing soundscapes, wobbling basslines and an immense potion of the right humor spangled with a lot of twisted effects and surrealistic leads are a defined earmark of Jahbo tracks and so he was playing all around the globe on almost all important festivals with his exceptional live gigs and absorbing sets.

He appeared on many releases, mainly on his homelabel in Denmark as well as on leading psytrance labels with the ideology of twisted trippy psytrance, with his solo project Jahbo as well as with the different projects he is part of.

His dj sets are dedicated to the trippers on the dancefloor, and he is able to move it night or daytime with his crispy and of course typical Aarhus styled attitude to send the crowd on his wings of psytrance.

Viktor Szabó a.k.a. Vektor Equilibrium showed infinite passion for music at the early age of 3 when his family’s hi-fi system went out of order and he came up with the idea to cure it by opening the cassette deck’s door, putting in pills, pouring a big glass of water inside to get the machine functioning again.
Wonders happen, but not that time.
The love of music comes from his father who was a self-taught drummer in a local rock band in the southern part of Hungary.
Being around and during rehearsal/gigs all the time an unexplainable and unstoppable smile crept on his face whenever he heard loud music.
At the age of 15 it was time to get involved in playing the drums and studying music seriously. The next couple of years were spent as part of several bands in various genres (from metal, ska, rock&roll to funk, reggae) playing on stages all over Hungary and Europe.
As a drummer he always enjoyed playing along drum&bass records and that’s how he slowly started to fall in love with the electronic side of the spectrum.
In spring 2012 the next evolutionary step occurred when he got in touch with psychedelic trance music after his beloved brother ’kroko’ showed him the door to a whole new undiscovered side of vibrations. Next year he visited Ozora Festival , which changed everything.
After the festival kroko got a pair of CDJ-100 and they used to hang out together mixing trance for the sake of pure joy. By this time he had also made new contacts, met new friends and ended up surrounded by Dj-s and a circle of friends connected by the same passion for music.
The first DJ performance happened to be at a 2014 NYE private party in collaboration with Gahabbi and the experience of DJ-ing was a life changing event for him, feeling true euphoria, something he had never experienced on stage before.
In 2015, led by this kind of energy, they performed at Samsara Festival(Hu) and then a real dream came true (while the previously experienced gigantic euphoria multiplied by millions in front of a full dancefloor) when they played at Ozora Festival’s Pumpui Stage.

Gahabbi
Gábor Szundi aka Gahabbi came in contact with electronic music at the age of 14 and spent the next few years trying to find his place, checking out what the Budapest party scene had to offer. After 4 years of listening to drum ’n’ bass, he bought his first accessories for DJ-ing and started experimenting with playing music. He didn’t find it too interesting though until he got enchanted by progressive house and techno thanks to his older brother and his friends. After collecting music for 2-3 years he played his first progressive-house set at a private party in 2014 under the name of Sundi Jr., after his brother Sundi. That summer he visited O.Z.O.R.A for first time. It was enough to make him fall in love with the progressive and psytrance genres and it’s also when and where he met a new friend, Viktor aka Vektor Equilibrium. At the end of the year they played their first set together at a private New Year’s Eve party. In 2015 they continued playing together at private and public events too, like the famous Chakacsütörtök in Budapest or at Tilos Rádió, Samsara Festival. In May 2015 they started the Independance radio show on Radiozora with the famous Fine Beats team featuring styles of progressive house and techno. In the summer of the same year, his big dream came true, playing twice at O.Z.O.R.A Festival with Vektor Equlibrium.

Aside from this, he’s also been working on the debut album from his techno/acid project STRONTIUM DOGS also due for a release early next year. He will also be making his, now annual, appearances at OZORA Festival 2017 and yet again, promises fresh original experiments in the world of electronica. To top it all off he has finally managed to make some time to provide you with this, the long awaited next instalment of the CRAZY SHIT SHOW. More acid soaked mayhem with Merv’s customary live synths and samples being fired off on top…This man’s energy knows no bounds!

Farebi Jalebi spent the last few years producing and playing his own sounds. FJ started producing music in early 2008; inspired by the stories of many pioneers in the groovy dark psy phenomenon across the world. Ever since, he has been developing a flavour of his own – with bouncy basslines, weird scapes and dripping sounds, each track has a different twang and tells its own peculiar tale . His music is groovy, powerful and dramatic; amidst a mix of emotion and insanity.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in 1998, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. Among some of the bigger festivals he has appeared at are the well-known Boom Festival (Portugal), O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, Sonica (Italy), Antaris (Germany), Transcendence (Brazil), and Hadra (France) among others.

Charles Matos (born November 5, 1978) is a Brazilian producer, audio engineer and drummer, best known as the psychedelic trance project Whiptongue. He is also part of the project Sychotria together with Flavio Xpiral.
Known for his eclectic influences and experimental sounds inside the Whiptongue project, Charles
had worked with artists such as Circus Bent, EVP , Dust, Fungus Funk, Psyberpunk, Dharma, Mole, SmokeShip, Xpiral, Fungoloyds.
Whiptongue is one os main artists from the Italian Label LOONEY MOON RECORDS, and had played …around Europe, India, South africa, U.S.A. , Russia and Brazil.
