Parvati family is back with NOCTILUS from Germany who just released his new product ‘Forest Tales – season 1‘ – 2 solo track and one in collaboration with Mubali.

Noctilus is a project formed by Georg Bauer from Berlin, Germany.
Born in an artist family, he early came into contact with music, attended a music high school, where he was teached in playing piano, music theory and music history. Beside he was playing bass guitar in several bands.

He came to earth in Berlin. But having grown up close to the „Goa Highway“ in northern germany he started to visit psy trance events in 2001… After studying music in Rostock, nothern germany, he started to produce electronic music with a passion for psy trance and downbeat in 2005 and came back to Berlin in 2007.

Now he is running the two projects Noctilus and Nocti Luca succesfully and is playing around europe and beyond, but also producing for movie soundtracks and similar jobs.

With Noctilus he creates a style wich is serving groovy moving basslines and a soundworld on top, that seems to be taken directly out of a forest. Frogs, birds, any kind of creatures talking to you and to each other, jumping around in mystical atmospheres, driven by twisting elements… Playing around 148-152 bpm, creating dark, serious and deep moments, but always keeping a friendly attitude, Noctilus is making you spin and smile on the dancefloor…

Magic in the music, this could also be the right title for Atriohm EP that we are presenting you now !
Yes, right, all music is magic and still..…what is coming out of the studio of this producer is somehow “more magic” and if you have ever experienced his music in a Live set at party or Festival you will know what we are talking about !!!!

The Atriohm project was born in 2003, almost 14 years ago and beside many excellent tracks released on Parvati Records and few other labels, in 2009 Atriohm released on Parvati, together with other Macedonian producer Encephalopaticys, the split album UKALEN which is regarded to be one of the milestones for the modern psy-trance music. 

Atriohm releases are rare: take time to make good things and in our case, with Atriohm music, this postulate is more then true: to compose and mix down such tunes is not something done in days or even weeks. The care in the details and the musical architecture created by Atriohm requires endless hours in studio, but finally here we are with the EP  Million Years Dance: 2 solo tracks , 1 collaboration with austrian producer Ianuaria and 2 of his old tracks remixed by projects Ulvae and AntHill.

I’m not a robot – I’m a nobot
Sometimes it’s quite funky to be a nobot. No robot no fun you’d say. But that’s only half the story. There’s a huge evergrowing pulsating brain that rules from the centre of the Ultraworld, directly connected to Nobots DAW – if USB is working. To ensure that noises beyond the major consensus narrative will be merged into relatively non-linear structures. And that’s where the fun starts.

In 2014 two guys wanted to get back to where they once belonged. There’s Oli/Brainshaker – party organizer and spinning the wheels of steel since decades – as well as Martin/Z-Neo ex Naked Tourist and producing various electronic music for a while.

During the journey to the other side they rediscovered their need for kinky dark psychotic structures and sounds. The Nobot PC home computer system was instantly surrounded by massive analogue madness, some black/white keys, knobs making strange noises, grumbling modular systems as well as some digital jukeboxes. Midi and CV/Gate are Nobots friends. Cybertechnologies like the world wide web are used as an infinite sample source. Whenever there is a dumb thoughtless sentence, Nobot switches into recording mode.

After 9 years it’s such a bliss to be back on the most lovely family label called Parvati-Records.
