After bursting onto the scene in late 2017, Hyperloop makes his Drumcode debut with Green Velvet in toe. 

Followers of Truesoul will be clued up on the quality one can expect from Hyperloop. Last October he marked the label’s 100th with ‘In The Loop’, a superb three-tracker that signalled his arrival on the scene and highlighted a stunning year for the label. As 2018 picks up pace, Hyperloop returns with a tougher follow up for Drumcode. 

His ‘Mentalizm’ EP is a classy example of his versatility, a trio of original works, accompanied by two DJ tools. Beginning on a menacing tip, ‘In Your Mind (Reflections)’ is a low-end brew of industrial stabs, eerie melodies and subterranean vocals. ‘S-Sound’ is his collaboration with Chicago legend Green Velvet and is a percussive masterstroke of loops and drum riffs which drive the eight-minute track with all the puffing ferocity of a steam train. ‘Spring on the Battlefield’ is the perfect contrasting accompaniment, as a warm rush of strings covers a bed of intricate analogue effects and stomping kicks.

The second part of the EBM Manifest remastered series includes the epic track Himmel & Hoelle that could easily be alled the Amphetamine of EBM-Techno. Originally released in 2001 on Heckmann's now defunct Wavescape label, it already had a huge impact back in the days that still lasts until this very day. Also included are the two Wavescape classics Satan & Deibel and Dunkel and the emotionally driven Violent Stains. 
These tunes stood the test of time and are still important and respected by the contemporary wave of EBM / Techno / Industrial !

With the fourth Realm Of Consciousness compilation, Tale Of Us shine a light on the artists whose work has shaped their sets in recent times.
There are contributions from Afterlife’s longtime regulars like Recondite, Adriatique, Mind Against, Woo York and Vaal.

Nachtdigital Mint marks the last edition of Nachtdigital Festival: After more than two decades it is time for a change. Over the course of the past eight years, Nachtdigital has given birth to a dozen releases in various formats. "Nachtdigital Mint" is the final statement - a return to the roots, in its most accomplished form.

Starting with a single 10inch release in 2011, the Nachtdigital label has evolved both musically and visually. 2017 saw the release of the first double LP with gatefold cover - a format that since has become the preferred mode of operation. For the last two years, Nachtdigital has focussed primarily on commissioned works, with thematically curated releases. The "Nachtdigital Mint" compilation marks the return to the original idea of the label: To compile tracks from artists of this year’s festival program, without much fuzz about conceptual works. The result is refreshingly energetic and gives a glimpse into the heterogeneous sound of the festival itself: Combining young talents with accomplished producers, raw sounds with dreamy delicacies. Side D was compiled in collaboration with Prague’s club institution Ankali - a fitting closing statement, as collaborations are what Nachtdigital has always been about.

Since bursting onto the scene back in 2009, Markus has stayed faithful to his minimal tech roots, creating mind-altering releases for everyone from Rekids to Figure by way of his own SCKT imprint. An artist at heart, his music is very often made without a dance floor in mind: testament to his studio craft that he’s become such a potent force in the scene.   Lead track, ‘6AM’ is an homage to the early morning groovers, who, blurry-eyed, still inhabit the floor when everyone else has left the club. The true heads who appreciate the ebb and flow of a night and grasp onto the embers with joyous abandon. Reflective and somber, muted chords work against ricochet sonics as Suckut’s hypnotic power takes you over for one last hurrah before the lights come on.

Born and breed in Spain, P.E.A.R.L. was first introduced to electronic music through the sounds
of the late 90s and early 2000s, which have played a foundational role in shaping his artistic
identity. Immersing himself in club culture during his teenage years, he developed a deep
connection to the raw energy of Techno music, particularly influenced by the sounds emerging
from the UK and Spain.

In 2012, he moves to Berlin, and a year later, he established his own label, Falling Ethics
Records. Initially a platform for his own work, the label has expanded to showcase a diverse
range of artists, contributing to the global Techno community. Falling Ethics is also known for
its distinctive visual aesthetic and authenticity that has helped to establish itself as a reference
point in the independent scene.

As a performer, P.E.A.R.L. brings quality to the DJ booth: His approach is less about spectacle
and more about crafting moments with love and deeply personal. There’s intentionality in how
he guides the dancefloor, balancing tension with release in a very eclectic way. It’s this
unpretentious yet deliberate artistry that has earned him a quiet respect within the global
Techno community, not as a figure chasing trends, but as someone who understands our culture.
