Recorded sometime in the Summer/Autumn of 1993 I believe, on 16 track D.A.T at White Wolf Studios, Fl. Music was originally written and arranged by myself and performed live regularly, back and forth from Fl - N.Y. until late 1995 with the quintet Innerscarlet. This was the title track off our first release in late 1993 which was only released on limited edition cassettes with graphic design layout by Max Michaels of Magnetto graphics/Movement magazine, cover art by James White.

Nothingness - Nel profondo abisso del nulla

Josh Clary( Entheogenic Psychonaught) sent this funky bassline my way.., I recorded some drums and percussion.. he then sent it to Tez(Llanpsych) who added “ ripping a hole in the sky” guitar leads.., then he sent it to Stephen (Tex Mex Shaman), who added a funky wah guitar and a freaking  phenomenal TALKBOX guitar part!! Stephen had his hands full mixing, as he had 3 other “ slingers” shooting in several different directions… in the end, the mix turned out superb!

Ah, dear listener! I present myself here with my good buddy Gary, rather sheepish and shamefaced at being absent from this church of sonic jewels for the longest time.  I have been a bad listener, I'm afraid.  Bereft of mojo, time and without my little studio. Mea culpa. 

If you've read this far, you already have a whiff of the legendary about you.

So one day, quite recently,  the Phaigester messages me and opens his raincoat to reveal a select library of stellar little ear-nuggets he's been hiding away. What beauties, I tell thee! What beauties!

Three grabbed me instantly..deep, swirling soundstrata, complex and intriguing in equal measure. 

Perched on my bed, yodelling into the abyss, I attempt to add to his painting.  Teleported into that great,  inkyblack wonderland of transcendent joy again.

Hats off to Gar. Inventive, musical and patient. Thanks for your art and resuscitating me.
