Inspired by the unifying spirit of soul and disco, he often uses his voice like an instrument — adding warmth and cohesion to his carefully sculpted productions. With a background in heavy metal and jazz guitar, Kimchii builds atmospheric, groove-led music that blurs the lines between indie, dance and a kind of cinematic dream.
