Martina Menfors is a Gothenburg-based DJ that emerged on the techno scene in 2015. Since then she has been heard in various locations ranging from small bars to underground warehouses. Martina was resident at the infamous Rottweiler bar, one of the true and major underground clubs in Gothenburg. She is now resident and artist at STRECK (@streckgbg). Her sound is best described as fast-paced, energetic and punky!

Jojogigirl is a Berlin DJ and member khisdapaze, organizing the annual sägewerk festival. Over the past months, her sound has been evolving towards a harder, more driving direction - blending elements of techno and trance with increased intensity and energy.

For PULZAR, jojogigirl recorded her first-ever hypnotic techno set, a deep, immersive journey through rolling rhythms, subtle textures, and layered repetition. The mix explores a meditative yet dynamic atmosphere, with occasional melodic elements weaving through the hypnotic pulse. Inspired by this experience, she's eager to delve further into this sound and continue shaping her own take on techno.

Martina has always had a passion for music but started spinning records first in 2015. She initiated her DJ-career selecting music at Fee Fi Fo Fum (Gothenburg) to then get gigs not only in Sweden but also abroad. So far she has been heard at many different locations, ranging from small bars to underground warehouses. 

Her original and straightforward sound has been heard at places/clubs such as Rottweiler, LUDD (Pustervik), Yaki-Da, RioRio, Fee Fi Fo Fum, Kino,  Electric Dreams, Stay Out West, TEKLA and many more.

Who is Martina Menfors?
I am a DJ from Gothenburg that recently started to produce music of my own (nothing released…yet). I have a passion for field recordings, which is a big inspiration for me. Not long ago I reinitiated playing the cello, which was my main instrument when I was kid.  

What is your thought behind this mix?
This mix is a showcase of tracks and styles that you could hear me play at the club. I really hope you will enjoy it! 

How would you describe your musical style?
Fast-paced, energetic, dark industrial and punky. In my sets I like to blend different styles and I have a penchant for mixing the old with the new.
