The Rotterdam-based and Lyon raised artist Caravel built her musical expertise through various instruments and genres.

Her productions are a distinctive combination of industrial, melodic, and hard Techno. The French artist’s key performances at Le Sucre (Lyon), Blackworks (Madrid), BASIS (Utrecht), HÖR, and intense warehouse raves in Paris allowed her to steadily build her profile with enormous prospects for 2022.

With groundbreaking upcoming releases waiting in the wings and the biggest shows yet to come Caravel is about to invade the scene by storm – be prepared.

Without a doubt KRL MX (Karl Max) is one of the most promising up and coming artists currently. Another product of the Paris techno scene. Karl has been releasing some fantastic music of late including a thundering tracks on R Label Group, Exhale, Taapion as well as a remix for ARTS and superb EPs on Maison Close and the well known ISMUS imprint.

A key protagonist in the frenetic sound of Berlin’s underground, Afem Syko has fast become a regular feature on the international circuit. His debut solo release on Kobosil’s R Label was a powerful introduction to the inner circle of next-generation electronic artists. His music is a euphoric blend of industrial, trance and hypnotic techno.

In Lee-Ann Roberts’ hands, even the hardest techno can have subtlety and soul. The Amsterdam-based, South African-born artist has become a prominent force in the global techno scene thanks to her fierce determination and vibrant creative touch. She leads with her own NowNow label – a self-reliant platform which nods to the South African colloquialism meaning ‘soon’, a call to surrender to the moment and follow where the music takes you. It’s a mantra she’s lived by as her career has sharply risen, debuting on Spanish label Suara with ‘Miyamoto’ and instantly scoring number two on Beatport’s Hard Techno chart. She’s simultaneously been growing NowNow with her own productions dropping alongside remixes from verified legends like D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Jay Clarke and Jacidorex.

Roberts’ first break came via her own show on Cape Town’s Mutha FM before she traveled to LA and found a home at legendary Hollywood nightclub AVALON. From Secret Solstice in Iceland to Caprices, BPM alongside Jeff Mills, DGTL and Verknipt in Amsterdam to countless other gigs across the world, Roberts has continually progressed, road-testing her tracks in the pressure-cooker situations she finds herself in every weekend.

The vitality in Roberts’ sound undoubtedly comes from her broad outlook, inspired as much by the revolutionary misfits of rock as the visionary pioneers of electronic music. Her attraction to unusual and distinctive qualities in the music she makes and plays all add up to one of the most exciting forces in contemporary techno – a commanding presence that demands your full attention.

For PULZAR, jojogigirl recorded her first-ever hypnotic techno set, a deep, immersive journey through rolling rhythms, subtle textures, and layered repetition. The mix explores a meditative yet dynamic atmosphere, with occasional melodic elements weaving through the hypnotic pulse. Inspired by this experience, she's eager to delve further into this sound and continue shaping her own take on techno.
