After a long time, we're finally off to a good start with an underground act with big ambitions for a life in music. Roan, also known under his DJ name Rø is a curious DJ and a label owner under the name @rooftopcardigans based in NYC, USA. He's been in the scene for a long time but he knows how to handle his talent and skills behind the decks. He's been lucky to present a famous artist on his label and since then his imprint has featured a few known acts around the world. In today's mix, he decided to go through his digital bag and grab a few funky beats with soul/jazzy elements throughout.
