q. pls introduce yourselves
a. We’re Marie and Antoine, and we started from our complicity and complementary to create Soleil Rouge. 
Soleil Rouge’s primary aim is simply to bring what we love and inspires us together and share it. 
So we created Paturia (festival).  
This was followed by a few releases, then a concert tour.  
2023 was a year of rest, as we refocused to rethink our intentions, which gave way to a series of mixes for various channels we love.

q. is there a story behind the mix?
a. The intentions of this mix are: letting go, serenity, rest and forgetfulness (at least for a moment).

q. what’s the best way to enjoy your mix?
a. A sunny morning, the cold of autumn, a cup of coffee, under the comforter, with someone dear to you. 

q. describe a favorite object in your living room...
a. The frame of an old burnt mirror that we made together using plaster to model organic shapes. Small cracks let the light show through the object.

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
a. We’ve been running a residency on Noods Radio ‘crying is softer than you think’ for a few months now. 
We’re starting to organize release parties for an artist friend <3. 
Thinking and re-thinking a future event.
Marie plays saxophone with a few effects pedals. 
We shape old objects using plaster.
We are adopting a kitten

Philadelphia-based filmmaker, deejay, and host of The Beauty Parlor nail salon (@nailsalon) threads sounds from his everyday across songs that offer a moment of respite against the banal corporate grind. A format well loved by Moods where artists take a time or moment as a point of departure (see: Anne Lacy, Icarus Redux, Jasen Loveland), nail salon fills critical caps across our sonic catalogue from rap to ambient to left field.
