2023年7月1日、東京を代表するトラックメイカーにより結成されたエレクトロニック・
バンド、GoodFellas TOKYO Trioがデビューアルバム「FREEMIND」を発売！！

今、東京のクラブシーンをエレクトロニックライブでエキサイトさせている、REOMATSUMOTO,Tonbo,miffrinoの3人からなるGood Fellas TOKYO Trioが待望のデビュー・アルバムをSorameccer Sound Designサポートのもとリリースされる！

各々がトラックメイカーとしても活動し、ハンドパンプレイヤー、フルートプレイヤー、ベースプレイヤーという側面も持つユニークな3人によって生み出された本作『FREE MIND』。
コズミック・トライバル・ダンスをテーマに作られた本作は、ハンドパン、笛、パーカッション等の民族的で有機的なグルーブとモジュラーシンセサイザー等の電子音が見事に融合された、ハイブリッドな作品に仕上がっている。

ライブでのジャムセッションを元に構築され、ハンドパン、笛、ベースがゆっくりと音を構築し、水が形を変えていくように滑らかにグルーブは変化しダンスへと誘っていくSide X、スタジオワークにより3人のセンスを融合させ制作されたディープ~ミニマル〜トライバルな仕上がりとなったSide Y。

マスタリングエンジニアには、Nicola Cruzの【Prender el Alma】やChancha Via Circuitoなどを手がけるSebastián Cordovésを迎えワールドクラスの鳴りに仕上がっている。

更に、世界各国のレーベルからリリースを重ね、東京トライバル・ハウスシーンの最重要人物 Mamazu(Hole and Holland / SABI)による"Neo Nation - Mamazu remix"も収録される！

2023年7月1日に代官山UNITにてリリースパーティー"SORAMECCER SOUND GATHERING"を開催！！

On July 1, 2023, GoodFellas TOKYO Trio, an electronic band formed by one of the Tokyo's leading trackmakers, will release their debut album "FREEMIND"

Good Fellas TOKYO Trio, consisting of REOMATSUMOTO, Tonbo, and miffrino, who are currently very known name the Tokyo club scene with their electronic live performances, will release their long-awaited debut album with the support of music label called Sorameccer Sound Design.

FREE MIND" is the work of these three unique individuals, each of whom is also a trackmaker, HandPan player, Flute player, and Bass player.
This hybrid work, created on the theme of cosmic tribal dance, is a perfect fusion of ethnic and organic grooves of handpans, flutes, percussion, etc., and electronic sounds such as modular synthesizers.

Side X is built on the basis of live jam sessions, with HandPan, Flutes, and Bass slowly building up the sound, and the groove changes smoothly like water changing its shape, inviting you to dance. Side Y is a deep~minimal~tribal album created through studio work by them.

The mastering engineer is Sebastián Cordovés, who has worked on Nicola Cruz's [Prender el Alma] and Chancha Via Circuito.

The album also includes "Neo Nation - Mamazu remix" by Mamazu (Hole and Holland / SABI), the most important figure in the Tokyo tribal house scene with releases on labels around the world!

The release party "SORAMECCER SOUND GATHERING" will be held at Daikanyama UNIT on July 1, 2023!

➤ About this EP:

The Semana s' project is part of a creative process during a residency at the @Studiobato (bordeaux, France) in 2022, a studio on board a boat as its name suggests. For a week Da Iguana & Walass went into exploration, as much in improvisation as in the sampling of old vinyl or to try percussive objects of all kinds. The two friends tried to transcribe the tranquility of life on board, approaching the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. It's in this metal and wood decor that the tracks and the concept of week were born. In search of the different moods that cross us, according to the days of the week and their sometimes frantic pace, the two companions have fun. This sound journey also evokes their meeting but especially their love for music.

A few weeks ago, I woke up in bed to find a letter in my own handwriting.

"The Assembly of Many Names, duly convened and vested with authority across dimensions, hereby declares, as a matter of immutable principle, that tracks imbued with the memory of motion must not be confined or withheld. Such works, herein referred to as 'dance tracks,' are to spill freely into shadowed rooms, loud, unhindered and unbound. The practice of gatekeeping shall henceforth be abolished."

This could only mean one thing: it’s time to put together a new EP series. Starting with some tracks inspired by Tokyo's dancefloors I got to experience last summer. The next volumes will follow in their own time—every few months if I can keep up. I wouldn’t dare to challenge the Assembly.

Born and grown up in the hand of mother earth, right next to the strawberry fields and the cows, searched he a bit than one year ago in the woods under every limb and leaf for the native sounds. What he had found one day, was a landing stone straight in front of him. The stone looked like a regular stone, but with the property that the stone can't fall, the stone has no gravity, he hovered over the ground. He tried to move the stone. Up, down, left, right - unsuccessful. With the time, the stone began to vibrate and slowly to glow.
He touched the stone carefully, and a bright light came out of it, so bright that he could not see anything around him.
After a few minutes the light changed into soft fog, and to see was a another wonderful morning.
