Operating via a certain idea of psychedelism, Ecar navigates through genres, space, and time to deliver potent musical experiences on and off the dancefloor. Using high-energy percussive frequencies, vandal edits, goa-infused beats, and a sprinkle of songs to make love to, the Geneva-based DJ is a regular at Motel Campo (@motelcampo) and likes to organise magical gatherings under-the-radar with his Metal Dance collective (@metaldance) 🥁🥁🥁

From Paris to Mexico via New-York, he pushes back the codes of club music by switching easily from one style to another. His DJ sets can range from soul, funk, disco, reggae, afro, latin, hip-hop to harder edged electro, underground 80-90's house, new wave, often all in the same night. He is not bound by any genres, but with a solid base in house, disco and electro. JMDLN keeps things odd, underground and doing his thing at his own pace.

In the summer of 2022, he became resident DJ and artistic director of the new Parisian venue doublevie, a three-storey audiophile bar and restaurant 🥁

New month, new guest, this time we have Oron K (@oronk) from Tel Aviv taking over Internet Public Radio for a special 2 hours set 🇮🇱✨

For nearly 11 years Oron has been juggling disco, house, techno, percussion, and basically every possible genre, the main thing is that he drips with groove and soul. Although cliché, Oron is the ultimate representation of musical obsession and dedication. His name precedes him whether it's in his legendary sets at the Alphabet Club (@alphabetclub), at Desert Island (@eboded) events across the country, and whether he is a PAG resident (@pagtlv) for the past 5 years.

The set was recorded live in the heart of the desert at Gil-A-Palooza during sunrise from 6 till 8 AM 🌅

I wonder what you can know about a city from afar. You've got pictures, Google Maps, the stories your friends come back with, the food you might get a chance to taste. There's the music the city makes for itself, or at least what of it outsider ears are permitted to hear. An image begins to form. The thing is, a city is concrete and cars and people, but it's also what arrives when it's called to mind: an imaginary place renovated by day-to-day experience or built slowly from the bits of itself it shares with the world. 

The music Mexico City has allowed New York to hear has fascinated us. In it we see enormous mid-day rooftop parties, clubs pouring out into the street, a metropolis pulsating beneath a sun that seems to always be setting. We sense momentum - that our friends to the South have something of their own, and they’re doing it well.

Nico Borgio joins Bliss Point from Mexico City by way of Oaxaca. With him he brought a bag of records he’s been pulling from party to party in the heat of back home.  It was a joy to welcome him for a two hour mix on his first trip to our city, while his imagined New York is first meeting us here.
