Having loved music from a young age it was one of the easiest choice to make when deciding what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Whilst studying at Southern Cross University I found I became quite interested in the behind the scenes inner workings of concerts, specifically the lighting systems. After doing lighting at the Uni for over a year I was offered the chance of a lifetime to do the lighting for The Byron Bay Blues Festival. This was one of the greatest experiences of my life so far and the knowledge gained from that experience is invaluable.
