Lee Burridge - Robot Heart - Burning Man 2022

Finally! The live recording of such a beautiful night/sunrise we spent in Atlixco, Mexico, with the Amores Experience family celebratin Dia de los Muertos in a magic way. So happy to have performed there, the energy was surreal, from the venue, to the people, to the other artists. It's been definitely one of the highlights of my Mexico tour and even my whole year. Music is a bit upbeat, but the context definitely allowed it.

This was a special one for me. Losing both parents a year apart has been rough. I took time off from playing music but coming back up for air with another opportunity to close out Sunset Campout--the best party in the world--with friends and family meant everything to me. Feels appropriate to post this one on Thanksgiving as I couldn't be more grateful to have all you nice people in my life. As always, a huge thank you to Solar and Galen for having me back and all of the Campout team for making it happen. I spent years pulling tunes for this one so I hope you enjoy listening as much a I enjoyed making it.

NIGHTMARES ON WAX Sunset Set In The Lab IBZ

I made this mix right after Navid passed last year.  It helped me get through the initial shock and pain to listen to all his music and be reminded that he was so talented and his music so unique and diverse. It was amazing to go back though it all and think about the memories of hearing it for the first time and sharing it with him. But then it got really hard to hear his voice, it just hurt too much...

The last few months I've come back to playing his music in my sets and feeling positive that he will live on forever through his music. A year on from his passing I feel like it's time to share this mix with the world. I hope it helps all of us remember Navid and celebrate his life...
