French producer Saint Paul was raised in Lyon with Ivorian and French heritage and is now based in Reunion Island. He was a founding member of Moonrise Hill Material and continues to refine his style, which is infused with jazz, funk, hip hop and African rhythms. Though built for the dancefloor, it comes rich in introspection that marries energy and soul. 

This six-track EP on GLBDOM takes in the horn-laced New York house vibes of 'I'm Ur DJ,' swinging MAW-esque kicks of 'We Can All Groove With It' and jazz-laced depths of 'Extreme Vibration.' It's an EP full of class and character with the late-night lounge sophistication of 'Elixir De Bons Souvenirs,' another highlight.

BIO
Sergione's passion for music dates back to when, as a teenager, he compulsively recorded
cassette compilations to liven up any party he encountered. In the late 90s, he joined forces with the regulars of the Barcelona underground, organizing private parties, first loaded with turntables and then fully entering the digital world with the first CDJs that were just beginning to appear at the time.

Between 2005 and 2014, he was a resident DJ at the legendary, now-defunct Arriki Town club in Cornellà de Llobregat, promoting indie and electronic culture alongside other legendary venues such as Deposito Legal and Salamandra, in a time of constant evolution. After a brief, enforced break, he returns to the scene in Barcelona to resume his DJ career, where he unleashes his current musical aﬃliations: Dark Disco, Electro, EBM, Indie Dance... Without neglecting many other styles, and taking advantage of the extensive musical background that this irredeemable music lover wields, you'll find him in booths at venues such as Freedonia, Sala Taro, Cafe la Palma, nonamenoaddress, and 78/33, among many others. His sets are characterized by their contagious energy that extends to the dance floor, with a tremendous obsession with connecting with the audience and making them dance like mad.

Sergione can also be seen in Ibiza, Vigo, Porto, and Madrid, currently combines his DJ work with production and is the co-founder of Sònica!, a collective founded in 2024 with the aim of
revitalizing Barcelona's underground scene and establishing new bridges with like-minded
collectives in other cities and countries, such as the alliance with Ruralive (Portugal) or the recent one with Circuit (Italy).

D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music rounds out the month of August by welcoming Ivan Lozano to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Ivan Lozano first emerged in 2023 on the strength of releases via AH Digital and Electric Eden. Armed with a nostalgic progressive sound and support from Nick Warren, Mariano Mellino and Nick Varon, Ivan would go on to record projects for BCSA, Droid9 and Transensations, firmly establishing himself as one of his countrys rising talents. Also an accomplished DJ, Ivan is a fixture of his countrys nightlife, most recently playing alongside international star Magdalena. With releases on Mango Alley forthcoming, Ivan now adds SLC-6 Music to resume with a four-track showcase Redshift. Comprised of four progressive-minded productions, it is the dark groovy monochromes of the title selection which set the tone for the release. Ivan crafts a deeply moving piece, complete with menacing stabs, neatly manicured percussion, mysterious vocal fragments and hopeful pads, the latter of which forecasts whats to come on selection two Skinnarbu. Decisively more subversive, its a foreboding air which makes this such an inspired creation, one which flows through rolling basslines, fresh effects and skittering percussive arrangements, before reverberating into misty atmospherics for a foggy night drive. Selection three Ignition makes its presence felt immediately through tougher kick drums which provide a resounding thump early on. These sturdy anchors chart the course for explorative passages of synths, panning effects and trance-inspired melodies to work their magic across a concise running time. Acting as the EPs closer are the energetic sounds of Burn Sequence, a tasteful journey through quirky arpeggiated arrays, playful cascades and timely key changes. An amalgamation of sound which not only proves to be powerful, but also timeless and cerebral in equal measure.
