Pacaya’s art is mainly inspired by his constant journeys and encounters with different cultures and fresh impressions. He knows that on these journeys sometimes acoustic treasures lie on the path.

While traveling, he also focuses on doing visual & motion design for events, artist and labels; just like covers, poster, animations. He is the Motion Design part of Urban Cosmonaut Radio and other labels/collectives.

This is a collection of some extraordinary songs which accompanied me on my journey through the beautiful land of the lovely Khmer people. I created this mixtape, because I want to commemorate this special music from a glory, almost forgotten era before the big red tragedy happened and destroyed everything. I will always remember the smiling faces of my beloved friends from Cambodia, when putting this old music on. 
All these songs survived the decades in a very bad quality, I didn’t find better versions :-( 
Enjoy the sun, the jungle and the great optimism, like the silence before the storm.
