The Norwegian DJ and Producer has been around for a while, consistently gracing the world with glimpses of his deep knowledge of music, encapsulated in a prolific output of self-produced Jazz LPs, remixes and DJ mixes. With a consistent feel for the warm and organic, Fred contributes a summer themed mix to 5918mins. with mostly 80’s and 90’s mid-tempo low-fliers to be enjoyed at the beach or on road-trip. Situated somewhere between electro, street soul, afro-house, acid-disco, boogie-rap, hip-house and techno, this mix goes down like a buttery burgundy. Cheers!

just-us records is a collaborative dig, online shop, and sometimes record label by Bill Spencer, who lives in detroit and Izaak, who lives in San Francisco. the two of them dj frequently in their respective cities and occasionally elsewhere. their mutual obsession with and love of all kids of sound has catapulted them, together, through the vastness of recorded music and the possibilities of sharing it with others. this particular mix is put together from a multi-year effort to explore the worlds of independently-produced R&B, Soul, Jazz, Hip Hop, etc. etc. from the CD/PC era of the early 00’s. We hope you enjoy just as much as we did!

Telephones is a renowned DJ for his free-spirited curve ball-mix of ranging from Balearic tutti-frutti, proto-house and percussion workouts to cosmic techno, discokraut-gymnastics and outer worldly explorations.

A firm believer in quality over quantity, Telephones has released a sparse but highly sought-after discography on acclaimed underground labels like Running Back, Sex Tags UFO, Acido, Love On The Rocks, Klasse Wrecks and Full Pupp. As well as production work and remixes for legends like José Padilla, Joan Bibiloni and Vangelis Katsoulis, to mention some. Starting with primitive PC software and DJing in the late 90s, he has since equally focused on production and DJing, now with more than 20 years of experience behind decks and knobs. In 2016 releasing his debut album, "Vibe Telemetry" on Running Back, taking his eclecticism and sound one step further, expanding the palette with influences from early Norwegian club-roots, Ambient House, NY House and Disco, 90s UK Balearic, Italo House, Underground Resistance and Detroit Techno.

The recent years has taken Telephones across the globe with frequent tours in Asia, Australia and the Americas, playing in over 35 different countries and as diverse locations as Sao Paulo, Taipei, New York, Mexico City, Hanoi, Tokyo and Melbourne, as well as frequently laying it down on his Berlin/EU home-turf at some of the best underground clubs, such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, Bassiani, Corsica Studios, Griessmuehle, Jaeger and festivals like Love International, Dimensions, Pitch Music and Arts, The Garden and Bahidora.
