Bad Poetry Club is a newfangled reimagining of music’s most pristine moments, slipping effortlessly through a polymerization of smooth jazz flares, old-school hip hop tendencies, embossed beatbox aptitude, and the modern dance juxtaposition of forceful breakbeat production against authentic, urban-illuminated brass punctuation. From the corroborative minds of Michael Wilbur (Moon Hooch instrumentalist), Tonio Sagan (producer, lyricist), Honeycomb (beatboxer, producer), and Sotorios (Political Animals frontman), comes an unfaltering, and successful, attempt to capture what previously seemed forgotten relics of musical introspection. 
The not-so-traditional ensemble embraces its obscure design with twisted delight, diving mercilessly into abrasive, yet agonizingly irrefutable, criticisms of any and every topic requiring examination. Despite four vastly divergent cerebral sources, this very same, distinct unison existing between the Bad Poetry Club's members inadvertently expelled its very self in the unyielding audio format of the group’s eponymous debut record.

Affectionately known as DTR45 (in homage to our favorite form of musical media, the vinyl record - which many times rotates at 45 RPM), Our mission from day one has been to bring the artist and their sound to the forefront, placing emphasis on creativity, innovation and cutting edge, out-of-the box thinking, rather than the prevalent business-as-usual, cookie cutter mold mentality prevalent in today's industry. At the same time, our staff strives to work with our talent roster to develop a well rounded background of the overall function and operation of Deep Thinka Records - and the arts and entertainment industry as a whole.

    Pledge Empire Records is the brainchild of brothers Carlton Ray Dildy Jr. aka God’s Prince aka Prince Carlton and Cedric Dildy aka Ced Linus. Born and raised in Virginia Beach, the brothers used to do music growing up with their cousin Rodney Ricks Jr.. The brothers started performing as a duo called The Pledge Empire at Bethany Luthern College, in Mankato, Mn., but turned it into a record label in 2007.
    Since 2007, they have been promoting shows and performing at venues in the twin cities area of Minesota such as 7th street entry at First Avenue, Fine Line Music Cafe, Loring Theater, Honey, The Red Sea, 400 bar and more. In 2012 Pledge Empire Records has branched out and have done promoting and performing in Seattle Washington. This expansion has worked out very well. They launched their “We Already Signed Tour” which saw them perform all over the midwest, west coast as well as internationally in London.
    Ced Linus has had two releases on Pledge Empire Records which are The Dream Is Over in 2009 and Wings Of The Morning in 2012 and Kings, Heroes and Streets in 2013. Sti-Lo Reel released his debut All Of Me in 2011, Soul Through The Speakers 2 in 2012 and MLK in 2014 Rodney Ricks Jr. has his own label by the name of Make Hell Pay Music. He has three releases which are Life And Death In Small Doses, Thorough Lee E.Peace Be Still, and Spare The Rod, Spoil The Child.

Ali, also known as Alley Moe, is a talented musician reigning from Rochester, NY. His talents range from keyboardist and drummer, to beat production. Ali’s love for musical production began when he first started to perform with his church choir as a drummer and sound system coordinator. From that point, Ali branched off and started to take classes on music theory, percussion& rhythm, and sound recording at Monroe Community College. He began experimenting with Garage Band, Logic 9 software, on his Mac computer, and an M-Audio Control board. As this point, he learned that what started out as a hobby and life long dream, could one day become a viable career.
Ali has successfully collaborated with an array of artists; such as Marques Houston (MH Production), Donovan “Da Truth” Dinero, Ricky Greenway (Rico Green), Rob Duke (Capo), Marcus Forsett aka  Marco Polo, and Carter Hayes (Lo Gang). Also, Ali successfully runs a music website called Mindlessmusic, which features many of his works, including his personal album (Mastermind Instrumentals).
Ali’s aspirations, as a musician, are to give back to his community and become a positive leader by opening a school focused on teaching musical fundamentals and providing a musical outlet for all ages. He knows that with the help of his strong inspiration and positive motivation, God, Family, & Friends, his success in this field will be eminent. 
When asked about his driving force behind turning his lifelong dream into reality, Ali stated, “The driving force behind my determination is simple, I have a LOVE for music! It helps me to express my deepest emotions, keeps me balanced, holds my attention like no other, and allows me to connect with others on a more intimate level.”
