Standing united against social exclusion in order to contest cultures of isolation, racism, and discrimination, R4R organizes grassroots resistance and campaigns against the oppression of refugee communities in Germany and Europe enabling freedom of movement for the most marginalized. The compilation is free, but all proceeds will go directly to the Refugees4Refugees network.

Featuring artists from three continents and with sonics spanning across UK bass, euphoric vocal-driven banger and leftfield techno, HeForShe x femme culture Vol. 4 demonstrates the breadth of the London label’s uncompromising style.

Funds raised by HeForShe Vol. 4 will be donated to UN Women and will be split equally between their Safe Spaces Now programme (which looks to create safe public spaces for all women and girls) and their Ukrainian relief efforts - delivering on the ground for women and those at risk.

After his contribution to Unperson’s remix plate it felt right to ask him to put his shin pads on and wade into a 4 tracker. This EP sees Troy traverse a multitude of tempos and forms, using foreboding sonics and clattering percussion to create feelings of pure angst aswell as elation and we can’t wait to hear these in a club setting. The pieces were lined up on the board, mysterious figures which stood tall and mighty atop black and white squares. Onlookers gathered to watch the two men play in the heat of the afternoon. They sat perched beneath a tree surrounded by a small crowd, the sound of the city echoed all around with an intense rumble as they prepared to engage in a battle of wit. This was chess, a dangerous sport for the uninitiated, one in which it was easily possible to lose your head and control. Dust billowed from the ground as the clouds rolled in, the game had begun. 

Plebeian is set to release a new EP via Molten Moods, an oddball affair which is destined to cause chaos in dark basements and smoked out rooms. It comes firmly stamped with our seal of approval, as does Molten Moods as a label.

Padre Himalaya is back with a first compilation release featuring artists from Lisbon, Porto, Brazil and beyond. 

The A side kicks off with Manchester-based P. Adrix and his futurist kuduro "Energéticos", Brazilian DJ Lima "Montagem do Telefone" funk infused electro bass beats, finishing off with Lisbon-based Rkeat's hardcore rave breaks in "Noid". 

Switching to the B side we're greeted with "Avariou O Quatro Por Sete", a luscious slow burner by DJ Problemas, a familiar face in Lisbon already, followed by "Dilema" a dreamy, spaced out buddy anthem by Colectivo Vandalismo from Porto and we're finished off with "Crying to U", a perfect cathartic and nosey short closure by Lisbon-based Odete.
