A high piercing sound from the amplifier is hurting your ears, a blood-stained guitar with three snapped strings lies on the floor and the guy next to you has a perplexed look on his face. That is how you would have experienced Dean’s first gig, if you were there. But you weren’t, right? Right…
Something was missing back then – like a pint that needs refilling. What once started with a single man writing songs about his boring life and the broken world now grew into a full-blown band. Still with a strong emphasis on lyrics, but with a tad more rock ‘n’ roll.
But who are Dean Wake and his band? What are they wearing? Are they the cool kids on the block? Do they eat toast or cereals for breakfast? You will have to find out yourself when they are playing somewhere close to you.

Irgendetwas hat damals gefehlt – wie ein leeres Bierglas das danach schreit aufgefüllt zu werden. Was mit einem Mann angefangen hat, der Lieder über sein langweiliges Leben und die kaputte Welt schrieb, ist nun in eine komplette Band gewachsen. Immer noch mit Schwerpunkt auf den Texten, aber mit einer Spur mehr Rock ‘n’ Roll.
Aber wer sind Dean Wake und seine Band? Was für Kleider tragen sie? Sind sie die coolen Kids im Ort? Essen sie Toast oder Müesli zum Frühstück? Das musst du schon selber rausfinden wenn sie in deiner Nähe spielen.
