The first ambient track take us into a dark atmosphere, combining natural and organic textures, deeply soothing.
The following tunes turn to IDM/electronica mood, mixing broken-beats, captivating pads and warm sound design.
A coherent first side that gives way to an earthquake.
Our founders Sigman and Jiman close this EP using their weapons to provoke the collapse, with two powerful techno tracks. They exhibit their taste for deep reverb kicks, intense pads and strong drums.
In conclusion, this EP draws his inspiration from the actuality and societal situation.

Locked Club is the new Russian electronic punk music. A wild combination of the legacy of classic house music, new-wave acid and techno sounds and the immersion of post-Soviet dance experimentation. Born out of scruffy techno beginnings at drum-heavy basement parties, this is a serious, acid inflicted  view of modern electronic music from the other side - away from the surrealism of the big room. Locked Club and RLGN recorded this 12" together in a basement for the basement.

LOCKED CLUB & RLGN – FOREVER PUNK [PRIVATEPERSONS004]

XAN is a Moscow-based producer originally from the town of Votkinsk – the birthplace of Pyotr Tchaikovsky. XAN then moved to St. Petersburg, and eventually to Moscow where he became part of the Johns’ Kingdom community. There, he began solidify himself as an established electronic music producer and DJ. His dedication allowed him to fuse new influences with his own musical background as well as single-handedly organize a unique underground festival in hometown Votkinsk. Later he becomes a resident of the main DIY club in Moscow «Rabitza» and a frequent guest at other notable events such as ARMA17, Boiler Room or NTS.

This record is dedicated to the entire Rabitza team people — «Рабы Рабицы» (Slaves of Rabitza).

Sweden's Almaty joined the Naive family last year with her left-of-centre banger of a debut single "Gennaro" (NAIVE003). This spring she returns to us with her first full EP, Sonic Signature. Building on the sound she introduced on "Gennaro", Almaty gives us an expansive four-track EP that flawlessly combines inventiveness and attention to detail, where breakbeats, ecstatic melodies and bass lines come together in a variety of exciting forms.

"Sonic Signature" is an absolute rave monster of an opener with a growling bass and squelching 303 over precisely programmed breaks. "Gen4" takes a more subtle turn, pushing the dance floor onward with a sense of tension and urgency. Percussion echoes among moody strings while the 303 burbles along.

On the flip, "Tulips" opens - a rich cut with complex levels working together to stimulate the mind and body, with Almaty bringing her take on trance to satisfy both retro ravers and new ears. "Do You Actually" closes out the EP with an atmospheric, nearly beat-free sound where drifting synths and arpeggiated bass invoke 80s horror movie soundtracks.

That's the fruit of four guys' collaboration : Jiman, Voice of Sylenth and Untitled Signal, who have the same state of mind, each have their own vision of music.
Influenced by the pioneers of Detroit, Berlin vibes and UK experiment, they aim to promote the experimental and powerful sides of techno music.

Sur les trente rêves qu’a du faire le jeune producteur techno lillois Jiman à l’orée de sa discographie, l’un sans doute était de monter un label de l’ambition et de l’envergure de Paerer. Une ambition qui, sur le papier, n’avait pourtant rien d’insurmontable : faire se joindre sous une même bannière les fractions d’une techno désormais affranchie de ses carcans passés, qu’ils soient dub, indus ou électronica. Autrement dit l’alchimie recherchée par tout label électronique, et à fortiori techno, qui se respecte peu avant les années 2020. Lancé en 2018, grâce à la passion partagée pour la production de Jiman et quelques un de ses amis, le jeune Paerer est l’enfant terrible de la scène techno française qui explosa au début de la dernière décennie. Un pied du coté de l’école de Birmingham (Regis, Surgeon) ou de l’EBM de Meat Beat Manifesto, l’autre dans les profondeurs dub de Basic Channel ou d’Echospace, le tout avec la folle envie d’expérimenter, le label présente un profil aux antipodes de ses contemporains et un esprit revêche qui le rend particulièrement sympathique. Sur la foie de quelques various bien sentis, aidés par des mentors et frères de sons comme Birth Of Frequency ou Pulse Code Modulation, la toute jeune structure, dont le logo rappelle méchamment celui d’une autre figure tutélaire de la scène électronique, commence à faire sérieusement parler d’elle. Mais cela était sans compter sur un contexte et une pandémie qui allaient rebattre radicalement les cartes, notamment pour les indépendants, balayer des labels aussi importants que le Stroboscopic Artefacts de Lucy et faire vriller toute la scène vers les sonorités pourtant décriées par le passé de la trance et du breakbeat 90’s. Aspiré malgré lui dans ce vortex dystopique, Paerer passe en peu de temps de rejeton prometteur à bastion des valeurs cardinales technoïdes.
