Exactly one year after his 2020 release entitled Dunklewissenschaft, DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2020 and early 2021. This 25-track album is another obvious thematic tribute, only this time he chose to pay homage to the writing of the socialist revolutionary Karl Marx. Every song title is a nod to the German philosopher's economic and political theory. Even the album cover borrows directly from Marx, re-adapting the original cover of the 1848 pamphlet entitled 'The Communist Manifesto'.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 11 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear, and more. This album is available for $15 USD

El siguiente artista invitado a nuestra serie de Mixes procede de Albacete, su nombre es Mazi y es el encargado de firmar la decimoquinta entrega.

Mazi es un  DJ de la vieja escuela que empezó a ser atraído por la música electrónica a muy temprana edad, lo que le llevó a comprar sus primeros platos. En esa época Mazi comenzó a montar raves con los colegas y tras colaborar con numerosos colectivos, pasó a formar parte del colectivo amigo UEMA al que tanto admiramos y respetamos por su buen hacer dentro del panorama electrónico de nuestro país. 

Para nosotros es un placer contar con este Podcast suyo, pues @bassmaci es un apasionado de la electrónica sin límites, y es lo que mas apreciamos de él. En esta ocasión nos ha preparado un magnífico set de Electro con una gran selección musical y muchísima clase en la mezcla.

That's the fruit of four guys' collaboration : Jiman, Voice of Sylenth and Untitled Signal, who have the same state of mind, each have their own vision of music.
Influenced by the pioneers of Detroit, Berlin vibes and UK experiment, they aim to promote the experimental and powerful sides of techno music.

Sur les trente rêves qu’a du faire le jeune producteur techno lillois Jiman à l’orée de sa discographie, l’un sans doute était de monter un label de l’ambition et de l’envergure de Paerer. Une ambition qui, sur le papier, n’avait pourtant rien d’insurmontable : faire se joindre sous une même bannière les fractions d’une techno désormais affranchie de ses carcans passés, qu’ils soient dub, indus ou électronica. Autrement dit l’alchimie recherchée par tout label électronique, et à fortiori techno, qui se respecte peu avant les années 2020. Lancé en 2018, grâce à la passion partagée pour la production de Jiman et quelques un de ses amis, le jeune Paerer est l’enfant terrible de la scène techno française qui explosa au début de la dernière décennie. Un pied du coté de l’école de Birmingham (Regis, Surgeon) ou de l’EBM de Meat Beat Manifesto, l’autre dans les profondeurs dub de Basic Channel ou d’Echospace, le tout avec la folle envie d’expérimenter, le label présente un profil aux antipodes de ses contemporains et un esprit revêche qui le rend particulièrement sympathique. Sur la foie de quelques various bien sentis, aidés par des mentors et frères de sons comme Birth Of Frequency ou Pulse Code Modulation, la toute jeune structure, dont le logo rappelle méchamment celui d’une autre figure tutélaire de la scène électronique, commence à faire sérieusement parler d’elle. Mais cela était sans compter sur un contexte et une pandémie qui allaient rebattre radicalement les cartes, notamment pour les indépendants, balayer des labels aussi importants que le Stroboscopic Artefacts de Lucy et faire vriller toute la scène vers les sonorités pourtant décriées par le passé de la trance et du breakbeat 90’s. Aspiré malgré lui dans ce vortex dystopique, Paerer passe en peu de temps de rejeton prometteur à bastion des valeurs cardinales technoïdes.
