Drugi odcinek serii podcastów Densiflory należy do Grażyny Biedroń - wywodzącej się z poznańskiej sceny klubowej, świetnej didżejki, selektorki, przywracającej wiarę w dobre house'owe brzmienia na polskiej scenie muzycznej. Ten miks to świetna próbka możliwości Grażyny w kontekście opowiadania muzycznych historii. Z jednej strony mamy tutaj różne odcienie house'u, od tych bardziej głębokich, zmysłowych brzmień, do parkietowych bomb, z drugiej strony zaś, wycieczki w stronę breakbeatu czy electro. A cała ta podróż po muzycznych nastrojach jest poprowadzona z wielkim wyczuciem i muzycznym smakiem.

The second episode of Densiflora's podcast series belongs to Grazyna Biedroń - from the Poznan club scene. In our opinion great DJane, selector, who restores faith in high quality house music on the Polish music scene. This mix is a great sample of Grazyna's skills in terms of musical storytelling. On the one hand, we have various shades of house, from deep, sensual sounds to dancefloor euphoric bombs, on the other hand, breakbeat or electro motives. And the whole trip through musical mood in this mix is conducted with great intuition and musical taste.

MIX: Martí Cros x Beatburguer

Settle is a Brooklyn DJ and member of the @lockedgroovebk collective. She focuses on percussive techno grooves with hypnotic, sci-fi, and dub elements. This mix was recorded live at @jupiter_disco on a Sunday in April.

Settle and I met though the Brooklyn techno community surrounding Locked Groove. As a stylish yet enigmatic figure in our scene, getting to photograph and style her first shoot was an honor for me. 

I had the pleasure of hearing this mix live at Jupiter and since that recording it's helped me get and stay focused while painting and sewing. I hope you enjoy wherever it takes you.

A masterclass on how to build a set from the founder of Inverted Audio.

If Jungle and Drum & Bass were his first love, Tom Durston aka Antepop went on to explore a much more diverse spectrum of electronic music, drawing in the far-reaching scope of Inverted Audio's coverage, allowing him to reinvent himself time after time. 

Antepop's holds a monthly residency on Netil Radio, and had previous gigs in Farr Festival, Above Below Festival, Berlin's Zur Klappe, HÖR, Renate, Barcelona's LAUT, London's Cafe OTO, Brilliant Corners to name a few...

Vibrant liveliness is the point of Seohyun’s set that evolves from reverb of sound and change of rhythm. She intends to create special and rare experience, often from subconcious or surreal, by delicately mixing sounds relating to reminiscent atmosphere from the broad field of electronic music.

소리의 잔향과 리듬의 변화에서 느껴지는 생명력이 Seohyun의 음악 셋에서 가장 주목해야 할 지점이다.  
다양한 일렉트로닉 뮤직에서 비롯한 기계적 소리와 회상적 요소를 조화시키면서, 무의식 혹은 초현실에서 가져온 듯한 특별한 경험을 만드는 것을 목표로 한다.

Pærer, independant label, based in Lille, France.
That's the fruit of four guys' collaboration : Jiman, Voice of Sylenth and Untitled Signal, who have the same state of mind, each have their own vision of music.
Influenced by the pioneers of Detroit, Berlin vibes and UK experiment, they aim to promote the experimental and powerful sides of techno music.

Sur les trente rêves qu’a du faire le jeune producteur techno lillois Jiman à l’orée de sa discographie, l’un sans doute était de monter un label de l’ambition et de l’envergure de Paerer. Une ambition qui, sur le papier, n’avait pourtant rien d’insurmontable : faire se joindre sous une même bannière les fractions d’une techno désormais affranchie de ses carcans passés, qu’ils soient dub, indus ou électronica. Autrement dit l’alchimie recherchée par tout label électronique, et à fortiori techno, qui se respecte peu avant les années 2020. Lancé en 2018, grâce à la passion partagée pour la production de Jiman et quelques un de ses amis, le jeune Paerer est l’enfant terrible de la scène techno française qui explosa au début de la dernière décennie. Un pied du coté de l’école de Birmingham (Regis, Surgeon) ou de l’EBM de Meat Beat Manifesto, l’autre dans les profondeurs dub de Basic Channel ou d’Echospace, le tout avec la folle envie d’expérimenter, le label présente un profil aux antipodes de ses contemporains et un esprit revêche qui le rend particulièrement sympathique. Sur la foie de quelques various bien sentis, aidés par des mentors et frères de sons comme Birth Of Frequency ou Pulse Code Modulation, la toute jeune structure, dont le logo rappelle méchamment celui d’une autre figure tutélaire de la scène électronique, commence à faire sérieusement parler d’elle. Mais cela était sans compter sur un contexte et une pandémie qui allaient rebattre radicalement les cartes, notamment pour les indépendants, balayer des labels aussi importants que le Stroboscopic Artefacts de Lucy et faire vriller toute la scène vers les sonorités pourtant décriées par le passé de la trance et du breakbeat 90’s. Aspiré malgré lui dans ce vortex dystopique, Paerer passe en peu de temps de rejeton prometteur à bastion des valeurs cardinales technoïdes.
