City Of Salt is the trio of clarinet, oud and electric guitar which draws on some of the more untrodden traditions of group improvisation to map out what could be called a Third Stream Arabic Music-neither the easy juxtapositions of 'oriental jazz' nor the all too reverential treatments of 'traditional' Arabic Taksim-the trio follows a 3rd path, using other blueprints or sources implicit in the ground of Arabic maqam and Free improvisation to create another 'stream' of improvisation - a more,open, extended approach to form and melody, both 'oriental' and 'occidental'. 

All tracks are from the forthcoming album Towers Open Fire, recorded during one free-improv session on August 2, 2012. Tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered by Fadi Tabbal at Tunefork Studios, Beirut, Lebanon.

Ben Presto's musical career definitely took off with the band Larsen Lombriki.
Larsen Lombriki was founded in Rome, Italy in 1997 by combining multimedia projects by public art and urban actionism. 
What began as an idea to put music to the fanzine “RoToR” soon became the creation of innumerable illusory groups and a phantom label, the Rotor Audio Club. 
At the present time, Ben Presto lives in Rovereto, Italy and plays in different improvisation / avant / noise groups and collectives and as a solo project he deals mainly with plunderphonics and electroacoustic music.

Rédha M est un compositeur et artiste algérien de musiques électroniques, son nom est souvent associé à la scène expérimentale et underground Algérienne, qu'il a contribué à créer, avec notamment ses divers projets et collaborations.
En 2004, il démarra Nepa Ios, qui est le 1er projet de musique Industrielle/Noise maghrébin,qui n’a cessé d’évoluer des débuts bruitistes de « Déchéance & Expérimentation », sortie en 2004, au dark Ambiant/noise soporifique d’ « IOS » (2005), en passant par du Drone Sombre de Psychodrone (2005), après une pause, il reprend courant l’année 2006 son projet de dark ambiant Nihil Humanum. Parallèlement, il lance Hohner Comet, un projet de Harsh Noise et sort 2 EPs et deux split entre 2006 et 2008.
En 2011 Nepa Ios jusque là en mode stand by est réactivé d’abord pour une série de concerts au Maghreb arabe et au moyen orient, suivie de la sortie d’un nouvel opus au courant de l’année sur le label Wwunzer .
Parmi les artistes locaux et étrangers avec lesquels il a collaboré, on trouve : Schalger Zone, Half a Moment, Madonna Schizophrenia Japanoise ,Demokhratia, Ndek, sans oublier sa participation à divers compilations telles que : Beyound border and the Ignorence, Pagena Noise, Floppy second, Oblivion,AR-R’AD, Mother Against the Noise.
En 2009, il lance ATHANOR, une émission web dédiée aux musiques expérimentales dans le monde arabe. En marge de son émission, il organise à Alger les Athanor Live Session, un micro évènement qui a pour but de produire des artistes locaux et d’autres issus des scènes underground arabes.
Il présenta une installation vidéo/son en 2009 qui a pour nom « Amman » un rituel imaginé autour de l’eau, suivi En 2010, du premier ciné mix d’un film expérimental « DEALER » du réalisateur hongrois Benedek Fliegau. en 2011 il se produit au Maroc à la 1er édition du LOST IN SPACE en présentant un second Ciné Mix "Begotten" d'E. Elias Merhige et présente une performance inédite en Collaboration avec Youssef Ouchra,en 2012 il monte PULSATION SONORE 1er Festival dédier aux musiques expérimental à Alger et présente une seconde performance aux cotés de C-drik, Cedric Stevens.
