Budino is an Italian DJ and producer who has been based in Berlin since 2012. Every free moment is devoted to digging for new music and exploring fresh ways to weave her discoveries together. Her sets unfold like psychedelic tapestries, blending industrial beats, tribal percussion, and rich sonic textures.
Over the years, Budino has refined her craft through unique edits and reworks that bring new life and versatility to the rare gems she tirelessly unearths. After a decade playing Berlin’s most iconic queer dance floors, her deep connection with New York City led her to co-found the label Sonic Dream Recordings, while also running her own party, Nothing Special, in both Berlin and NYC.
In addition to her work behind the decks and in the studio, Budino was invited to curate the fourth edition of Love International Festival’s compilation series, The Sound of Love International. 
Budino has performed at some of the world’s most legendary clubs and festivals, including Panorama Bar, Fabric, Club Raum, Basement, Horst Festival, Houghton, Dekmantel Selectors, Making Time, as well as delivering exciting back-to-back sets with Tiga and Ivan Smagghe. She is also co-authoring a book with Bill Brewster, exploring Italian dance music culture and the art of DJing from 1965 to 1995, coming out in 2026.

Jonas grew up in Mažeikiai, an industrial town in Lithuania, famous for its oil industry, which apparently is a very proper soil for electronic music. Like most kids back in the days, he took up trombone, piano and breakdance. His early music experience was influenced by broken beat and so he started to mix Hip Hop and Funk music under the alias Calli. 

Jonas paused his exploration of music for a while after reaching Minimal Techno and relishing its scope of creativity. He discovered MINUS in 2007 and immediately became a big fan of Magda, Marc Houle, Heartthrob and the likes. Shortly he started showcasing his personal selections in various festivals and venues all over Lithuania. He got acquainted with his future partner-in-crime Pupa and Shn, head promoter of the foremost Lithuanian techno community minimal.lt. Step by step, Calli consolidated as a key perfomer in the Lithuanian techno scene.

Concentrating on one style turned out to be hard, so Calli continued his musical pilgrimage by playing in many clubs and festivals around his home country. Matured and experienced, he was confident enough to start his own production. His talent was quickly noticed by Mantas T., the founder of a Lithuanian net-label Partyzanai, and in 2011 Jonas proudly presented his first EP ‘Acid from Nowhere’, which quickly gained recognition in the techno audience.

A few Techno and Tech House EPs in different labels soon followed, including his latest and most profound EP „Reverse Stories“, recorded in collaboration with the Lithuanian techno pioneer Pagalve. Their vinyl was later supported by UMEK, James Ruskin, Maya Jane Coles and even Joseph Capriati himself. During his career, Calli was lucky enough to jog turntables both locally and abroad with Magda, Troy Pierce, Marc Houle, DJ T., Dasha Rush, Snuff Crew and many others.

Later on the producer’s new love, Dark Disco-inspired spacious sound, started to beg for a new artistic alias. John Patter was born and the alter ego was a good enough reason to invest on new studio equipment and broaden his abilities of production. Launched with remixes for ba., a Lithuanian post-punk prodigy, and Latvian producers Esoniq & Negorod, he soon began laying some serious studio work and came up with his debut EP „Space Race“ in 2015, released in Ninefont.

After several releases on Argentinean’s label, John continues on his sound path and thus a new release is born on the Spanish label Shara Music called “Noche Santos”. Before this EP, Jonas did a great remix for Tkuz track “Electrico” which was released on the same label.

During the successful his own managed Darkroom event series in one of the best Lithuanian night club Kablys, he met many great artists from abroad and his sound was moved forward as well. The inspiration leaded him to new dimensions of EBM, mixtures of Dark Disco with Broken Beats and the result was a new release born on Esthetique’s sub label MOIL called “Trois Larmes” on 2020. Jonas continued his musical journey with inspiring new tracks & EP's, which were released on Rotten City Files and Melomana Records.
